I'm sorry if this thread already exists; I did a cursory search for 'psychology' and 'treatment' and found nothing related.
Anyway, it seems that part of the settlement from the October 2011 fiasco was to provide Chris mandatory psychiatric treatment and evaluation. Surely, the therapist charged with this treatment would have discovered Chris's unhealthy home environment by now, and its result on Chris's fragile ego. If they were competent, there's a good chance that comments by Chris would have led them to look him up the internet, where the bulk of Chris's life was played out in the years leading to his present madness. With all of the information available online, combined with Chris's history with police and his obsession with sex, you'd think his case would warrant serious work.
At least, you'd think something would be done; especially in light of the events that led him to be evaluated in the first place.
But is something being done? If facebook posts and leaked videos are to be believed (especially the video of him deriding Cole,) Chris is just impervious to change. He's just as childishly malicious and ego-maniacal as ever. The new chaotic combo bullshit on his fb just goes to show he hasn't learned a damn thing, and he won't let sleeping dogs lie. One of his comments goes so far as to say: "I'll do what I want, when I want."
I just find it hard to believe that mandatory psych treatment would be so ineffective, but then again, I know nothing of mandatory treatment. And that's why I'm asking you guys what you think; did Chris actually get treatment? Do you think it's been successful (I guess he is staying off the internet?) Does anyone close to him have any information as to how Chris feels about it? The armchair psychologist in me needs to know.
