If this is the still the "viral feminist healthcare" ad, she's been at it for 7 weeks now. There are feature films that don't shoot for that long. Just how much footage does she need for a 40 second advert?

I wonder if she feels like she's actually accomplishing something when she's doing this makework shit, or whether she's conscious that it's all just filling time so that she can pretend to have a real job.

Holy shit, it's been annoying me for some time that I couldn't figure out what that reminded me of, but now I know.

The vacant eyes aren't following or anticipating the movement they're just rolling around, the head just sort of whips around like the neck was jelly, the mouth is doing it's own thing - it looks like a Terry Schiavo rigged and animated like a fucking puppet!

No, Brianna, darling, it's because the way we've set up the presidency, if Trump is ousted his VP takes over.
Since you like droning on about the Bush administration so much, let me phrase this in those terms:
Remember when we had a well meaning idiot in office and were terrified something would happen to him, because his VP was way more competent but also completely evil?
It's kind of like that. Trump going under means that instead of a political novice with a terrible habit of creating controversy and a loose understanding of the system, you'd have an extremely savvy career politician who's about three times as smart, but shares the same values.
He's also pretty solidly on record as opposing just about everything you like.
Regardless of your political stance, Pence is just plain better at the politics game than Trump will ever be. Putting him in charge is the last thing the left can afford.

I'd say Pence is much more socially and economically conservative. The only thing I can imagine is that they either literally don't know how succession works (and think that it's like a pageant where the next runner up in the election takes the spot if the winner has to step down) or they're hoping that whatever takes down Trump takes down... well, pretty much everyone.

Would they be okay with Paul Ryan? I guess they'd think he's better than Trump, but not by much at this point. Maybe Mattis? He's seen as the adult in the cabinet room but he's also as far away from being a snowflake that you can imagine so a large wing of the party would go ballistic. There are a few other fairly non-partisan cabinet heads but they're near the end of the succession line and I imagine the country would have been politically blown apart if everyone above them could not take office.

Or I guess the real answer is that people like Wu are incapable of thinking ahead strategically.

I want to know what Congresswoman Wu will do for men like myself who want to transition into swole Adonises. I am a huge jacked dude stuck in a skinny-fat body. I have been lifting weights for 6 months and I still don't look like the guys on the cover of Men's Health or BodyBuilding Weekly and it's making me depressed. Many young men need access to HGH, anabolic steroids, testosterone etc. NOW or the government will have blood on their hands.

What will Congresswoman Wu do to ensure that people like myself are able to live as the (ripped) person they want to be?
