That's crazy. How much is a kilowatt-hour over there? I pay close to 40 eurocents, and my monthly bill amounts to around €75. I'm not running a server farm, after all.
Depends where you are. I pay nearly nothing for electricity. I can't tell you my exact usage since I'm overseas atm but it's roughly 63$ every three months. (Roughly 14ish euro per month).
I thought that was more or less the case, yes. Still, an Internet connection is a lot cheaper, too. 280 canuck dolla would be 160 euro. No one pays that much here.
Well we only have Comcast. They effectively made it a one choice provider with different distributors.
This "advice" is so out of touch it's almost insulting. In the US the waiting time for income based housing can be years long, depending on what city or region you live in. It's not always as simple as simple as "hurr durr just move."

Always least from what I recall... there are weird exceptions. For example growing up the province I was in had government owned telecommunications and I payed an absurdly low price for Internet. It was bought out by Comcast but and I could be wrong here. That happened under Harper.
Oh yeah I know the Jeets fucked up everything and that was mostly under Trudeau. It had started earlier but the onslaught after COVID made prior immigration look like nothing.

Try having a boomer husband and wife as business partners. It nearly killed me before they finally let go at 70+ so I could run the business on my own. The greed never stops with them and hey still think prices and salaries are/should be what they were in 1989.
It's just extreme narcissism. They spent their entire lives believing that all of society was created specifically for their benefit.
