What have you recently eaten?

My hands are all fucked up, so you better drive brother. I've tried various mobility aids, but generally it takes me a long time to do simple kitchen tasks and pepe is a fast meal, you literally have to plate and eat the real stuff immediately. This gave me the flavor without the skill. They added lemon zest which I know would drive purists up the wall, but I liked the brightness.
Most tard kitchen gear sucks and actually hurt to use. I can still dice an onion though.
Like a lot of hold boards use fucking vertical spikes to "hold" the food, I generally use an inverted fork.
Sorry nigga I generally assume people aren't disabled

Speaking of fast pastas I made puttanesca and it was fantastic

Tteokbokki cooked in Trader Joe's Tomato and Pepper soup. It was good.

If you have a Trader Joe's near you, they have a jar of cacio e pepe sauce, and ravioli in that flavor. They used to have a frozen one like what you described, but it was discontinued. Maybe your disability prevents you from being able to open jars, though.

All the TJs ravioli are great. Most of them I just toss in some olive oil or brown butter and parmesan bc they barely need anything more

They have these things at the fair and carnivals here called a walking taco were they basically open up a bag of cheese doritos, and they add all of the taco ingredients in the bag, mix it up and hand it to you with a plastic fork.
It's good as hell and I want one. Problem is I don't make them as good as the people at the fair do.
There's a zombie themed restaurant down in Branson called walkers that serves walking tacos but I don't want to drive all the way to Branson.

Try different seasoning profiles and fat content on the meat until you find it. I'm not joking, I'm about 43 chili fry recipes deep hunting for one I used to get in a strip mall and the closest I've fuckin' got is Bold Manwich of all things. I don't know if it's the mustard or the vinegar that brings it closer.

Many of the recipes call for a metric fuck ton of white sugar.

I'm not sure if it's a good thing but I've become a regular at my local diner for my Saturday breakfast:
- Country ham
- scrambled eggs with cheese
- grits
- wheat toast
What you do is mix the grits and eggs and liberally add some hot sauce. Then with each piece of ham you can scoop it up and get a little bit of everything in each bite. The toast is for mopping up at the end, and if you're feeling it you can make a tiny sandwich with the marrow from the ham bone.

Got invited to one of my neighbors' place for their son's first birthday. No idea what to get a one year-old, but I do know parents of babies can never have enough diapers and I have a Sam's Club card, so that was easy enough.

They're Filipino and had the whole extended family over, so it was pancit and adobo and lumpia along with grilled pork and the other usual suspects as far as the eye could see - an insane amount of food and like 30 people crammed into a 1700 ft^2 home. Good times and great food was had by all.

For brunch, I've cooked up a french omelette with tater tots and a fajita on the side with steak, peppers and green onions. I added sriracha on top for a bit of a kick.

I don't get fast food often but today I had some delicious Popeyes with my family in honor of Black History Month 😊

Was it actually good? My last couple experiences with Popeye's have been underwhelming.

For some reason, I've found many of the best fried chicken restaurants aren't chains but standalones run by Pakis. You can tell a good fried chicken restaurant in a city because it's the one with a line of blacks outside.

Our Popeye's is usually very good, I don't think I've ever had a bad experience there.
We ordered a big family meal and had a lot of leftovers which I ate over the next couple of days, I found that the chicken and biscuits reheated really well in the air fryer.

Actually best are Koreans.

I was just at this place that's getting Viral, my god I wept it was so lovely. It's actually pretty close to where "the blob" was filmed.
