I feel Talk To Staff is a bit too stuffy for some people feeling comfortable asking small or simple questions to moderators, and I also believe there could be some more levity between staff and users.

Try to avoid using this to interrogate about moderation decisions, like "Why was I banned?" since that's something that genuinely should be handled in Talk To Staff. Threads posted there will be treated with more urgency and seriousness. Generally.

Use this thread to ask us questions, serious or not, and we'll answer them accordingly to whimsy.

I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong and I was wrong on that one I thought it was a personal attack and in my line of work I really can't stand people being snarky to me because I have to take shit from people 8 hours a day.

It was rare but a few people would start a thread in TTS that weren't an immediate call-to-action and those immediately stood out and were appreciated. Two that stood out to me were broadly "I dont have anything wrong, have a good day you niggers" and "I hate this one user, I dont expect you do anything just venting haha"

I wouldn't overdo it, but many people forget that positive or neutral feedback is an option, so anything fun or different will be liked.

In a worst case scenario where you shit up the TTS page 1 with too much waste to piss off Null, he can individually ban you from that board, I think it happened once or twice to some creative mischiefmakers in my tenure.

Don't expect a lot of engagement with posts there either, if you get 4+ positive stickers that's about as viral as it gets with staff
