Mega Rad Gun Thread

Got my lower fully assembled.
Awesome. Are you building the upper too, or just pinning something cool on? (Something something more guns in the fight)

Ordered some more CZ-75 mags and also finally decided to replace the plastic RomeoZero optic on my P365XL carry gun. Went with a Holosun EPS circle dot. Comically, I've been using that silly plastic red dot for years with no issues, but cleaning dust out of the back side of the glass finally made me make the switch.

Going with an assembled BCM upper. 16 in Qaud mid length.

misaligned barrel (turned to far right or left, not aligned with the frame) timing issues, too heavy or too light trigger (indicates something wrong in the action), scratches, barrel condition, sight condition etc.

S&W quality has suffered these last 20 years. they can still make a good gun, but buying sight unseen is a risk factor.
Happy to report my second 617 MG was WAAYYY better than the first. 😎

First must have had an action issue as it would bind in DA and SA

I ordered a nice leather holster for my anaconda. I've been waiting for about 5 months.

The woes of being a slave to good leather products.
Mmm mmmm when it arrives give pics.

I'm thinking of a leather holster for my Model 66, 617 MG and maybe even my 686.

Speaking of the 686, the 6 shot cylinder version is gone and probably discontinued.

It's on closeout everywhere ($650 at PSA)

So going forward the 686 will probably be 7 shot only.

Just holstered up my 4.25 python. Mine was from legion leather, their concealco.

My reaction to this factoid
It surprised me too, but that's 150 rounds and then letting the gun sit and heat up the chambered bullet for a while (longer than you think), what's interesting is this is true for most AR15s, with the propagation of super safeties we will probably see more cookoff related posts, though that is 5 mags and chambering a new one with zero cooldown, which is a little silly to do.
Stealth Additive Works
Huh, Just got my Capital Armory paperwork for my Shiv, hopefully they don't update that one next lol.
the process has been ok, but waited a full 6+ weeks before any shipping happened

For y'all gentlemen/ladies of culture, the new Resident Evil game has seen the light and 2/3 of the shotguns in it are Mossberg based, including this one

Other stand outs are Beretta 1934/1935

What looks like a stainless Bersa Thunder

SIG P320 metal framed comp model

Silencerco Maxim 9

The Uzi (holy shit they modeled it to fire from an open bolt)

CZ Scorpion

Winchester Model 70

Springfield M1A

H&K VP.70

A M4A1

And the classical Remington 870 with a folding stock

The Magnum is either a mutant Chiappa Rhino or a S&W stubby mag

Pretty cool and the reloading animations are excellent

It's a El Paso Sadderly 1930 "austin" model. Mine will be the model to the far left. I chose not to get any embellishment on this one, but the construction is of the same quality. All my nice holsters come from EPS. I've carried my Python in one of their duty holsters for hundreds and hundreds of miles and it is still like new.

150 rounds in a couple of minutes is trivial with a belt fed gun and people tend to use more ammo if more is available i.e. a standard 200 round belt instead of mags. Gonna see a lot of cookoff related NDs with FRTs and belt fed uppers especially since suppressor use is rapidly gaining popularity and they add to the total heat load of the system.

You left off the Sig Sauer MCX as it is in game.

I know your pain. Ordered the Nightingale Leather shoulder rig for my Staccato P on 5 July. At the time the stated waiting period was 32-34 weeks, so we are getting close to it shipping out hopefully. I'm very much looking forward to it.

As said earlier, the big fuck-off YUGE magnum is a Russian RSh-12 designed to defeat body armor in close range engagements. The 12.7x55mm cartridge is also used in the ASh-12 "battle rifle", and that weird straight pull "sniper rifle" the ASh-12 is based on that I'm forgetting the designation of. RSh-12 maybe? But the cartridge is loaded differently for each platform.

The stainless pistol isn't a Bersa. It's a SIG P230/P232. Basically SIG's answer to the Walther PP/PPK. One of the few .380 Auto pistols I actually want to own. Think of a PPK, but with the SIG style decocker along the grip.

Bersa is about the only one I can think of that meets all 3 criteria with the TPR X/XT. They're actually really nice, reminds me of the p 89 not as bulky.

Was reminded of this today when I watched this clip:

For Bersa's sake I hope this was an exceptional lemon. Wish I knew whether the gun started rusting in Brazil or only later on some dealer's shelf. Probably could've been avoided had the manufacturer just applied a drop of grease on the internals.

Finally, I don't know if it's just the camera but that slide finish looks cheap. It reminds me of the spray paint I see on airsofts that shows all the smudges when light reflects on it.

I imagine it just sat so long on the shelf until they sold them cheap. And they are Argentinian not Brazilian. I don't know who this gun is for. Anyone with enough money to buy a suppressor is gonna spring for at least a Glock.
That finish looks like the one on my Anderson AR lower. a finger nail will scratch it easily.

Allegedly it's the RSh-12 which is a Russian piece of design insanity chambered for 12.7x55.
Ah so mutant Chiappa Rhino is pretty accurate 😆

Yeah, I had just saw a stainless Bersa in my LGS with that rubber finger grip.

Good call on the SIG, I'm unfamiliar with some of their clone guns.

Ohh and the semi auto shotguns from RE7 make a cutscene appearance (RIP BSAA agents 🥹)

There is also a machine pistol but I haven't gotten to look at in the inventory/first person mode yet as it's a boss fight pickup.
