I see nothing in the listing requiring that payment be rendered within a certain amount of time, or by what method (like checks/MOs or Paypal Only). If one of these ween bidders really wanted to be cruel, he could stonewall this for a long time without sending money and Chris would end up having to pay off eBay's share of the final amount when his time of the month in his account is due. Sure, Chris could file to have it waived, but 1. Chris is too dim to know how to fill out the correct forms online, and 2. It would still leave a hold in his tugboat for a while.

Personally, I think the only way this spectacle could get better would be if someone did, in fact, buy this for $5,000. Chris's response would be delightfully and infuriatingly smug, and we could all have a good laugh knowing that some fool lost a huge sum of money on garbage.
Sadly, it's just going to fizzle out as all the ween bids fall through.
