Absolutely, thank you!Not sure if you are still interested in feedback...
I think part of the problem is the devhytes (monster things) aren't *supposed* to look human, but like a slightly offputting humanoid type thing. Think gnolls from dnd. I know what they look like in my head but putting it to paper is the tricky part. They're supposed to have smaller heads where their neck gets progressively larger like a gnoll because of the horns on females.
Another thing I think people are picking up that gives the drawing a fetishy look is I tend to focus on specific parts I struggle with, so I'll focus on hands, chest (on both sexes) leg/thigh, mouth, ears, etc. I def struggle a lot more at drawing from images because I think I over correct, but I should absolutely do it more. I'll doodle some actual proper monsters to prove I'm just bad at humanoids, lmao. I swear I can draw properly! Just not humanoid.
The cloth and collar bones are a gigantic help though. I think I struggle mostly with where the fuck I want perspective to be on humans, so I puzzle piece parts until I'm happy with how the sections look, but they don't necessarily look good *together*.
Edit: some 5 min each animal sketches + goofy char sketch
