Okay, if we wanna talk politics, I at least want to talk about them in a way that's completely reasonable and shows just how bad of a person Ellen is.
Take for instance, the following exchange on Facebook.
(archive)

Stephanie here tells Pizzacake that she should stop judging people based on their political affiliation, because they share a lot of human traits and are very simillar in a lot of ways, then says (rightfully) that Ellen's a hypocrite for preaching against the values she represents.
In response, Ellen commits faulty generalization again.

...but let's look at Ellen's comment again.

Now, let's ignore the fact that, even if what Ellen said was true, she would still be commiting faulty generalization.
What did Stephanie actually post?

Linked is also a very good video summarising the situation from a legal standpoint.
Yes, what Ellen took as Stephanie defending an ICE agent, and, thus, proving that all of MAGA is trash...is her saying that she can't pass judgement on the defendant since he hasn't been declared guilty of murder in court yet and is, thus, pressumed innocent.
Ellen is, quite literally, against the article 11 of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Besides, "I like to get my head around the law first before making any rash decisions and say that the officer is out line and automatically assume they are guilty of murder without hearing from all sides of the argument," implies that Stephanie also agrees that the officer commited the act he is accused of.
They are on the same side.

This was naturally followed by a swarm of Pizzacake fans bashing her.A faulty generalization is an informal fallacy wherein a conclusion is drawn about all or many instances of a phenomenon on the basis of one or a few instances of that phenomenon. It is similar to a proof by example in mathematics. It is an example of jumping to conclusions. For example, one may generalize about all people or all members of a group from what one knows about just one or a few people:
- If one meets a rude person from a given country X, one may suspect that most people in country X are rude.
- If one sees only white swans, one may suspect that all swans are white.
