Another legendary tigress has passed away. Langdi, a tigress of Pench Tiger Reserve in India, died March 10 at the age of 18 (she was last spotted March 6). Langdi was remarkable because she survived and thrived despite her limp that was caused by a congenital deformity in her right front legs/paws. "Langdi" is a popular children's game in India which involves hopping on one leg. 18 is an incredible life span for a wild tiger, let alone one with a big birth defect.

Langdi (aka T-20 and PN-20) birthed approximately 10 cubs, many of which made it to adulthood. Veterinarians with the National Tiger Conservation Authority performed a post-mortem examination (per their protocols), after which she was given a funeral. There are photos of her funeral within the article archived below. RIP to another queen.

I met Nicholas in person a few years ago, and spent 20-30 minutes talking to him because I won a trivia night.

Him being handsy with me and trying to flirt with me when he was 20+ years older than me was uncomfortable.
You could tell that he had a lot of personal demons; and he was open about some of them that night. I kind of always hoped that he’d turn his life around.

Oh boy. This is tricky. I liked him as Xander, but he was a repeat domestic abuser and he beat the hell out of all his girlfriends. (Including strangling more than one) So, I don't know what to say over his death. It's hard to feel bad for him. It sucks that he too was abused, but you can only excuse his demons for so long.

To go further on this: I was part of the Buffy community fandom for years, and in all the groups. This was an open secret ever since the 2010's at least, and was widely discussed in the BTVS groups. This was a very well known secret.

Sad, because Buffy was important in my childhood. But not surprising. Brendon abused his body in many ways. I always expected him to die young, and maybe that's what he deserved. I feel bad for his family.

His family said he died in his sleep, but I am not so sure. In his Facebook live videos he frequently did, he honestly sounded like he was on some heavy duty pills or drugs. He also fucked his spine up, and he looked really rough.

It was hard enough getting through the Bobby Eaton episode. People in the wrestling community can jab at Cornette all they want because he's still one of those "IT'S REAL TO ME, DAMMIT" types even though this 'kayfabe' thing has been six feet under for well over two and a half decades at this point. But that's besides the point.

Just hearing someone as characteristically as Cornette break down in an entire episode, you hate to hear it.
