Mega Rad Gun Thread

Bodyguard 2.0 weighs 9.8oz, like 14oz loaded, 10 or 12 rounds of .380. Pretty much the best pocket pistol to have ever been made imo, the only real compromise vs a 'full size' micro-compact is you're carrying .380 over 9mm. If you go smaller you start making sacrifices in shootability, capacity, etc. BG2.0 just hits the perfect balance as long as you don't have extremely oversized hands (and if you do anything smaller is going to be even worse)

Took the ap5k to the range to finally try out the FRT

I too have FRT ambitions but i am also retarded and will probably be posting about blowing my hand smooth off.
USW-G FRT G17 is going to be neat.

the B&T glock chassis makes me wonder if there are glock FRTs, the franklin armory binary glock slide thing wouldnt work with the g18 chassis due to the backplate being different

They're quite a couple glock FRTs. The trigger i posted is a glock frt from Serpico Performance. This little piece that sits on that trigger is the FRT trip. From what I could find the serpico frt is one of the least temperamental glock FRTs you just have to do some light filing on the trip to get it working 100%. It will be a while ( waiting on a form 1) but once it clears I will upload a video of some kino B&T USW-G FRT for you guys.

Yeah I adore mine

Mark Serbu (who is actually working on an extremely small number of Stoner builds using CNC'd receivers) asked him a couple questions about how he plans to actually make the things and he chimped out

I can't imagine chimping out at Mark, he's a good guy in my book having talked to him.

I'm going to move to a slightly more dangerous city soon. Anyone have a good recommendation for a very light carry gun. I'm thinking of getting a .25acp.

I don't go below .380acp or 32H&R Magnum. At this level the pocket gun I recommend is the Kahr CW380 (or P380 if you want to spend more). They are good quality guns with real (small) sights and are pretty easy to shoot well because they have a long DA style trigger that is not overly heavy or crunchy. .25s are usually saturday night special tier and have enough quality issues being such cheap dinky guns that they may wear out or break if you do any significant practice with them. I've put a couple thousand rounds through mine over the years and had a couple of FTFs in early/break in but haven't had any issues since.

Newest addition to my autistic arsenal a 1916 SMLE no.1 MK3, it has been sporterized by some retard by cutting down the forestock and adding a rubber recoil pad, but he didn't cut down the barrel or drill the receiver and the bore is immaculate, also has Austrian Gendarmrie markings on it, planning on restoring it to original spec all I need is the wood and a nose cap and it should be fine. Will keep you updated.

Its been awhile but here is the update on the SMLE as promised, now its sitting in a ishapore DP rifle stock and is mostly complete im only missing the stacking swivel.

Now people were saying that fitting a new stock was going to be annoying and hard but in reality its fairly easy. First off you clean all the cosmoline and junk off then you deal with the main thing that is going to give you trouble the draws.

Now everyone likes to act like the two surfaces, the draws (circled in red) are rocket science, now the reason why these are important are because the receiver locks against them in the stock and it has a big effect on accuracy, now on the new stock the draws were slightly longer, preventing me from fitting the action, so what do you do in this scenario? Easy, go to the good old harbor freight buy some wood chisles and files, and slowly take material off until you have a smooth even fit using the old stocks draws as a reference. The only other thing I had to change is the stock bolt, ww1 era mk3s have a square ended screws meanwhile No.4 and ishipore mk3s use a stock bolt that dosent stick out, and are a direct fit since later ishapore mk3 stocks have metal reinforcement, instead of the square groove of the original mk3s.

Overall it was pretty easy and fun and it shoots pretty good. Would do again.

I hadn't heard anyone recommend Kahr in a decade and honestly thought they had completely pivoted to deagles & tommy guns after buying out Magnum Research & Auto Ordinance.
The S&W bodyguard 2.0 has the pocket 380 formfactor on lock at this point, coming in lighter with the best ergonomics and double the capacity, making it hard to suggest anything else unless you're stubborn and demand to make Bill Ruger's ghost mald with a LCPMAX or pretend you're in WWI with Kel-Tec's new stripper clip fed hicap 380.

On the note of Kel-Tec, despite what S.C.U.D. said last page, the P32 is still in production and you can grab a new one off Midway for $285 right now.
Is it the best carry gun? No. Is .32acp the best caliber? No. (still worlds better than .25acp and modern loads can be "good enough")
But it's absolutely the smallest, thinnest, and lightest proper tilting barrel locking action pistol available if hiding a gun in your skin-tight hot pants is a priority.

So, a buddy sold me his Hi-Point (I will let you stop laughing....) 9mm carbine for 50 bucks. I've tried their pistols and they.... well they exist and can shoot. But after putting this thing through an hour at the farm plinking steel I have to say I am actually impressed. While not an AWESOME firearm by any means, it's accurate enough that I was hitting 90+% of the time at 100 yards once I got a feel for it. Very little to no kick honestly, so quick follow up shots were super easy and quick. Major complaint is that the damn thing carries very little ammo, and is heavy enough on the front end to fuck with quick reloads.

I hate to say it, but I could give this an early 8/10. More time and ammo through it will likely change my view, plus I'm gonna toss a cheap scope on it to see how it does at longer ranges. But overall for a first impression, it's not bad at all. Kinda surprised me coming from that trash company, but even a blind deaf drunk retarded squirrel finds a nut once.
They're the gun equivalent of mopeds and fat chicks.

I can honestly say, they do some really neat paint jobs for the price.

And that's all I have to say about thaaat.

Damn. Do you already own a Ruger LCP?
This is unironically a damn fine pick? Though, I'll admit, I usually recommend it to women for the ease of adding a pink or purple laser sight. Hope nobody takes that the wrong way.

Are you trying to carry in your butt?
Boof carry is the most tacital thing ever, you don't hear about it often but most Delta DEGVRU SEALS carry a 1911 in the B hole. Personally to be more tactical, I suggest letting your wife peg you so you can butt carry a Anzio 20mm.

9 times this week I had to pull my back up butt gun out and knock that enemy huey down. It was worth having my face stuffed in a pillow and crying with a dragon dildo making me more tactial. no homo.
