I like the man but he's flip-flopped on supporting chamberings so many goddamn times. In one breath he says .30-06 is God's gift to hunters and the next he says it sucks ass and doesn't perform, the man invents the .44 Magnum then goes and says .45 Colt is still better before shilling on his deathbed for .41 Magnum.Elmer Kieth
Hot rodded 45 colt is what he wanted in the beginning but the guns of the time (colt SAA) could not handle the pressures. The 44 special guns had thicker cylinder walls and could take the pressure. That alone is why we have .44 mag and not .45 mag.I like the man but he's flip-flopped on supporting chamberings so many goddamn times. He is a fantastic storyteller and an inspiration for pistoleers but like any other big name I'm not taking his word for gospel.
a fella here with an actual B&T could easily make me look like a punk but i swear their guns have zero soul and could be reloaded by putting spiders in the chamberGlad I didnt buy an APC9

Yeah, a Ruger.Don’t you need a boat anchor chambered in .454 Casull to enjoy the thermonuclear .45 Colt rounds?
Yep. But nah that SIG check cashed so lets lie.abck and take what the rep is shitting.Watching this reminded me of when Brass Facts did their M7 video, they basically at the same time called out TFBTV for being SIG shills, but also thanking them for the access to the gun and most importantly the ammo used.
It is understandable that if you are a big name website with industry contacts that you end up being in the pocket of the industry, that is what you pay for the access and to make your content. But at least try to politely do some pushback so that you don't look like a full goober sitting there and allowing the rep to do their full presentation. But it is what it is, thankfully we have all these non-affiliated guntubers that actually go and call out all these issues.
Agreed. Well.... Now we have a lot more people with opinions (many of their opinions are retarded)the days of Jack O'connor, skeeter skelton and Elmer Kieth are long gone. What writer or guntuber has enough pull that the industry will listen to them vs the industry telling them what to say.
Ahaha LMAO the dangers of buying fancy Euro gunsDoesn't look good for B&T USA. They own their own printers for the Print-X suppessors, but rely on other companies (mostly B&T AG) to send them parts and firearms. James' X account and the BT_APC subreddit have a bunch more information if you're interested
Agreed. Give me the poor and hungry guntoober or the one so independently wealthy that they literally don't give a fuck and have zero care about industry contacts/access.So while we don't have that one definite voice in the firearms industry that everyone listens to and whose opinion is the Right and True™, we do have all these various voices with their own backgrounds and expertises. And when taking their opinions on whatever the hot issue of the day is and putting them together, one can find what the overall consensus happens to be. Like for example Henry of 9-Hole Reviews looked at the M7 from his own background and went through the ammunition logistics issues the whole program might be facing. Or in the Brass Facts video I mentioned earlier, a clip of Chuck Pressburg saying the bulk of magazines already being a problem and this gun makes everything even more bigger of an issue. Would a single guntuber/writer be able to raise all these points? Probably not, but that is why it is good that we have the variety of voices in the mix.
Ruh roh lol. The ASU chick is probably some execs mistress lol.Aside from importing B&T AG parts/final products B&T USA is the oem for a bunch of 3d printed suppressors(PSA's Sabre suppressors for example, are "Powered by B&T"). If they go belly up it could affect a significant part of the industry. Will they stay solvent? Was it a good idea to name a 20 something female ASU business admin major with no previous work history ,VP, and now president of the company? Maybe Mr. Reeves will get them in a room to tell their side? Probably not but I'm sure he'll keep whoring out for Sig in the meantime
Lol yep. Gimme a Turkish MP5 instead.Glad I didnt buy an APC9
He'd have loved .454 and .460 and .500 magHot rodded 45 colt is what he wanted in the beginning but the guns of the time (colt SAA) could not handle the pressures. The 44 special guns had thicker cylinder walls and could take the pressure. That alone is why we have .44 mag and not .45 mag.
Once .44 mag came out new guns were made like the Ruger Blackhawk which could handle high pressure .45 and so Elmer reignited his passion for .45 +p.
With Elmer bigger was always better.
Thats the route I went, it's looking like it'll be great weather this weekend for a long range day to chew up some ammoGimme a Turkish MP5 instead.
Model offered by Hexagon Tactical that I guess they don't offer to the public, at least yet. That AK handguard in the Russian suppressor video is kinda weird looking, any info on it? Looks like a space rifle from some sci-fi movie.

Seekins Precision is using GNB-200, Said to be the American Equivalent of ARMAD. They're also using a 200-9.4 Gain twist rifling.Geissele and the Army are working on super barrels made out of an Alloy called GNB-200

Ruger Old Vaquero, Black Hawk, Super Blackhawk, Redhawk, super redhawk, Colt Anaconda, Freedom arms mod. 82, Mag. research BFR and winchester 1892 & clones and Marlin 1894s can take .45 Colt +P. these loads generate ~30,000PSIYeah, a Ruger.
When Tim sundles doesn't load it to full spec you know it's a bear to shoot. The .454 Casull is one cartridge that Buffalo Bore Ammunition does not load to its full pressure limit. When loaded to its full pressure potential the .454 Casull can become unreliable and unpleasant to shoot. At upper-pressure levels, heavy bullets tend to jump crimp - tying up the cylinder. (wouldn't this be great in an emergency) Also, fired brass can stick in the chambers.
Dick Casull designed the .454 in 1958. I'm sure Elmer Had an opinion on it. Can't find anything ATM. it wasn't until the 80s that factory .454s came to market but custom guns were around a long time before. He'd have loved .454 and .460 and .500 mag
Ohh cool. I'm awaiting a HIT PRO M3Seekins Precision is using GNB-200, Said to be the American Equivalent of ARMAD. They're also using a 200-9.4 Gain twist rifling.
Yep, drop in the basic MP5 lower for somenothing can withstand the might of a roach MP5

Hell yeahyeah I've got the ARC in mine. I'm not gonna touch the one Rare Breed is making, fuck rare breed
If you were (unfortunately) depressed and wanted to end it all, would you really trust a .25 to get the job done?I'm going to move to a slightly more dangerous city soon. Anyone have a good recommendation for a very light carry gun. I'm thinking of getting a .25acp.
No but I want something very light for warm weather. I'll probably carry my 9mm in the colder seasons. If you were (unfortunately) depressed and wanted to end it all, would you really trust a .25 to get the job done?
keltec .32ACP P32 only weighs 7oz and holds 8 bullets! No but I want something very light for warm weather. I'll probably carry my 9mm in the colder seasons.
Ten round extended magazines are also available.keltec .32ACP P32 only weighs 7oz and holds 8 bullets!
I was thinking of buying a tp9 sbr till I saw one in person. It didn’t look like it was worth $2500. So the next day I went to a different gun shop in a higher end area and bought an HK sp5k instead. And after seeing this I’m glad I didn’t buy the tp9.In slightly related news B&T AG and B&T USA are suing eachother:

B&T USA is also wrapped up in the Larry Vickers import violation criminal case.

B&T AG(Switzerland) are telling customers that they terminated the license agreement with B&T USA.

B&T USA's reddit rep is in full damage control mode. Looks like they're missing a bunch of parts to complete guns ordered a year ago.
