She isn't wrong, technically: she can't have anesthesia. Surgery? Sure she can. She just did ffs. Has it even been 2 years?

I mean, the whole reason she went to Scamron in the first place was because he said he could do her 'lymphedema' surgery without putting her under. She got Versed, lidocaine, and fentanyl. Propofol and one of the fluranes while she's reclined? She'd suffocate. So she's right, but it has nothing to do with her blood work.

I know both her mother and sister died due to surgery...do we know if they survived the procedures or did they die on the table? I would be absolutely terrified of needing emergency surgery if I were her size, wtf is she going to do if her appendix bursts or something?

That’s not correct. According to Anna her mother died due to a respiratory illness (asthma was Anna’s term) complicated by her obesity. Her mother never had weight loss surgery.

IIRC Kathryn died due to a bowel infarction. Long ago Anna stated Kathryn had WLS and her death was due to post surgery complications (weeks or months after), but since then she has never directly acknowledged that Kat had that surgery nor explicitly stated the reason she will not have the surgery is due to her sister dying from it.

Well let’s be real, she is not a good candidate for gastric bypass. My understanding (admittedly from My 600lb Life plus an aunt who has bariatric surgery and a quick Google search) is that a psychological evaluation is required to determine if the person is actually ready and can stick with the strict post-surgery diet. They have to do a liquid diet at first for like 2 months, and stick to up to 1000 calories daily for months (less for the first two months). You can look at the diet guidelines here. Looks fucking brutal to be honest.

Anna *cannot* do that. She would injure herself by eating through it. And yes, if her sister has an intestinal infarction (which seems like a very rare complication from rapid fat loss) then I 100% understand her refusal to try for that particular surgery. She needs to address her food issues in therapy but she just refuses, she wants no peek into that abyss!
 
A while back I compared her to an inefficient pig. More pig sperging: they don’t do well under anesthesia; if you have to put them under, gas is safer than IV. They have weird anatomies. I wonder it’s the same for Anna, would they have to use gas? They’d definitely need to monitor her airway more closely than for a normie and probably even a pig.

Anyway, it’s moot, at least for a bypass. It’s not her blood that’s the problem, it’s her brain. If she can’t white knuckle a diet for a few months to demonstrate that she won’t rupture the stomach staples, she has no business getting gastric bypass. So she’s right, but for the wrong reason.

It's funny to see Anna get so high and mighty about people asking if she's doing weight loss surgery when the Amazon sponsorship is literally for her up her GLP1 to lose weight. She admitted this!
But since it's been 3 months and she hasn't lost any, she's had to change the narrative.

My theory is that she flew out to see Amron or Herbst for a day, because her other trips out there were quick like this one. It's been a little over 1.5 years. Amron said it would be 1.5 to 2 years to see the results. He likely told her she was incurable and that's the "news".

There is an influencer (itskaseypotts) who got Amron's surgeries and then it supposedly came back. Apparently it is "rare", but I guarantee it isn't. Probably most of his patients regain because their fatty lifestyles aren't changed. He told her there was nothing he could do to help her and so Herbst put her on a GLP-1. She is not a deathfat, but if you watched her posts from when she got surgery to the follow-up, she was constantly vacationing and eating out at Disneyworld. Obviously you're going to regain what was sucked out, even if it's far less than what Anna had done.


 
a lot of cows oscillate between "everything is perfect" and "everything sucks" but Anna has her own way about it that's just so fun. It's not even "fake it until you make it" type shit it's just pure 100% delusion from deep in her slowly firing brain.

Thank you for pointing that out because I was really confused on her current timeline. She flew somewhere the other day, then posted a nonsensical rant from a hotel room, now she's back in her car with sweaty hair about to burst into tears from her "crazy news". Was the doctor that she saw not local to Austin and somewhere she had to fly to? Why wasn't Scamron and Derbst mentioned as part of the medical team she saw that listened and confirmed she is a medical anomaly with an ever-changing body full of unburnable cement?

No need to speculate what the cRaZy NeWs because we already know: FAT.

and because I feel like this needs reminding especially for newbs and reddit lurkers and anyone who asks the same questions over and over:

Why doesn't she swim/walk/put down the fork?
Why doesn't she make this easy meal?
Why doesn't she show and say what size she really wears?
Why doesn't she disclose clear communication on what her "flair ups" and various ailments are?
Why doesn't she xyz/123???

The answer is always the same: Anna is a pathological narcissistic, who refuses to take personable accountability, do any self-reflection, lacks complete self-awareness, is incredibly entitled, demanding, selfish, lazy, and insecure. She also is a food addict, and attempting to address why she is addicted to food would force her to confront the false self she's created, and that is simply unbearable. Many NPDs would literally choose to die than to take any personal accountability or responsibility for the things they've done, both to themselves and others.

Anna will never, ever change, will never lose weight, will never admit to any of her lies or egregious actions. Asking or making suggestions on how she can improve her life and situation is pointless because it's never going to happen. Since she is a pathological narcissist, it offends her deeply that anyone even suggest small tweaks or offer helpful, constructive criticism. Anna's list of detractors is very long and ongoing.

The fact she has recently been making a lot of comments "this is why I'll never die!" or "I'm gonna live forever muahahaha" when talking about StrongRetard stuff is very, very telling. She knows she's fucked and is probably experiencing some pretty dire health issues we will never know about.

Anna also smokes cigarettes and drinks too much alcohol. It truly is astonishing she is still alive, mobile, and able to live independently.

I can see some marketing person innocently coming up with this idea.
 
I’m so curious as to how she can out-eat a GLP1. My impression of these drugs is they physically make it hard for you to stuff yourself. As in you would feel really bad if you ate a bunch of donuts on one, is this not the case?

Hahaha! My vote was cancel as were nearly all of us. And next week we’ll get a sad tale about how disappointed she is that couldn’t make the “comp” but she’s flaring and sad, and decided to stay home and protect her bahdy. She will add that she realizes it’s not the destination, but the journey. The comp isn’t the point, showing up every day and getting stronger is the point. There will always be new competitions and she’ll be at the next one but in the meantime, she showed up for herself and that’s the win.

Some respond to it better than others.

As for Anna, same reason Chantal out-eats it: they’re food addicts. They don’t want to stop eating to excess because consuming and being stuffed full of food fills an emotional void, at least in the moment. Unless they commit to mental therapy, no GLP-1 will help them. Addicts gonna addict.

That's how it works for your normal fatties with *normal* food noise and compulsion to eat. GLP-1s make eating your favorite sweets less pleasant by dampening the pleasure response, thus making stuffing your face an unpleasant, even embarrassing, experience. The food takes longer to leave the stomach so if you say "fuck it" and eat a bunch of donuts you risk projectile vomiting them all

However, the above is only true for your garden variety fatties, as it makes it easier to just say "no" to food. Actual food addicts, like Anna and Chantal, *don't* want to stop eating. This is their drug of choice and even with a magic pill that makes dieting easier they would never, ever say "no" to another Nando's order
