Even if you win in court against your landlord it is still a good idea to not live there again at the earliest possible opportunity. Best case scenario he doesn't have to pay like a month's worth of rent.
I think Greeeeee stopped paying rent in September. He's lived for free for about 6 months. How he continues to lead lead the court on with the "I can pay now going forward" plightsperging while also realizing he has to come up with 6 months of payments to even get current is just BS. He's basically trying to legalize stealing from his landlord. He should be in jail for that with his jail bond equal to his arrearage.

Consider how he wants the court to force Viatron to settle by paying him money they never agreed to pay while also wanting the court to force his landlord to house him for free despite signing a written agreement that he hasn't honored for 6 months. He's apparently convinced himself that witholding rent was justified despite living in that space the entire time. It's so awful living there that he filed an emergency motion to get back in (rent free though).

The next move: Emergency motion to enjoin Schaefer from renting out the room that has all his stuff. Can't wait to read how Schaeffer has to let his stuff stay in his room for 30 days. And Russ will promise the court, submitted truthfully this time, to pay the storage fee.

Good night, sweet manlet, maybe the cop flashlight tapping on your car window at 1am will finally give you the chance to explain your plights.

Is it just because he is losing and he can't accept losing? Is he so petty he can't let the landlord win? Why?
Landlord already won. The rat-faced tard is sleeping in his car.

This. I actually did win an eviction case once after withholding rent (but putting it in escrow). I still left at the earliest possible opportunity because why would I want to live or continue to deal with a landlord when we absolutely hated each other?

All the more reason for them to wear bodycams, to protect them from the inevitable lawsuit.
I can't wait for that one.

When under stress, some people will turn to alcohol, food, drugs etc. I truly believe litigation is Russell's drug of choice. The frenetic typing as he's creating a document probably increases his adrenaline as he fantasizes about winning before he's even finished the first page. The rush hits as he sends it off to the clerks to be filed.

That's a lie. Documents he submited earlier show he was able to pay it for the district court AND got his money back. He is just brazenly lying. The bond amount and the filing fee amount here are the same $250.

We got his FINANCES NOW PEOPLE. Ignore the 2024 at the bottom. I'm pretty sure he just used a standard "fill in" form.

Basic expenses - $1,620

Income - $1000

Is it just me or does the (negative) gap between his income and expenses keep increasing?

If you voluntarily leave employment you 100% do not get unemployment benefits.
This is untrue. You CAN receive unemployment if you voluntarily leave, however the circumstances are limited. The most common is any form of constructive dismissal - the company making the workplace so hostile to you that you quit, so they don't have to fire you. The thing is, the burden of proof can be intense. You have to prove that you were, effectively, driven out, and you may get dragged into arbitration later on if the employer fights it. And they will.

One of the things that's required for this kind of fight is evidence - emails, documentation, etc. For arbitration, a witness can also be helpful. I have unfortunate experience in this, but my employer skipped the arbitration, so...

How are his expenses $1,620 when he hasn't been paying rent for months now? The audacity of this man to lie about how much money he's paying in rent each month on a form he submitted for an appeal (or whatever it technically is) to a verdict that found he wasn't actually paying rent and could therefor be evicted.

Nigga has been running a deficit since like 2023. He's obviously lying before every court he files in, because he does not have that much in savings as a safety net, certainly not for 3 years.

But...He's not paying rent. That's the basis of this entire case, and he's plastered it all over the docket that he's not paying rent and hasn't done so in months.

He earns exactly $1000 per month? Hmm, even a salaried worker's paycheck isn't a nice round number like that.

Assuming there are no other lies in this application (lol) his expenses are $820.

Also how, in 2026, is he only spending $200 per month on food?

Love that he states that he was promised a $200,000 payout.

From the IFP petition:

"In January 2026, I utilized student loan funds to purchase a vehicle to secure my livelihood through gig work (DoorDash/Lyft), as my landlord was already infringing on my rights."

Isn't this just straight up fraud?

I think student loans are intentionally done in such a way that there's no actual restrictions on their use. Becuase they know full well a massive amount of kids if not a majority of them are going to get on those student loans, party for 4 years while getting a useless degree, then be beholden to the system until they're 60 without ever owning anything. The abuse is factored in, and the purpose of the system is what it does.

So to put it another way, no, probably not technically. Russ wouldn't be the first to use student loans to buy something not directly related to school bills.

I wonder what his "unforeseen vehicle registration issues" that caused him to lose over a month of income were? Did he have a bunch of unpaid tickets? Get scammed and buy a used vehicle with a lien on it? More lies? He still has a duty to mitigate so the courts shouldn't consider over a month of lost income as he presumably did nothing about it. He could have rented a car or sought conventional employment.

I thought he was banned from Lyft? Or was that Uber?
