🐮 Lolcow Russell Greer / Mr. Green / Russell Greee / Russle / Brothel Prince / @ just_some_dude_named_russell29 / A Safer Nevada PAC - Swift-Obsessed Sex Pest, Convicted of E-Stalking, "Eggshell Skull Plaintiff" Pro Se Litigant, Homeless, aspiring brothel owner

if russ told his life story to a psychiatrist there's a non zero chance that the doctor would conclude "patient exhibits clear signs of delusions and disordered thinking" and slap a schizophrenia diagnosis on him

Guys, come on. We aren't supposed to be helping Greer!

The above poster is absolutely correct. 72 hour psych holds are a complete myth and Russell will be taken seriously. You need to already be diagnosed as mentally ill or else the authorities will be powerless to detain and transport you to a mental hospital. It's classic double jeopardy and any real lawyer would know that.

It has never been more over!

Anyone that meets Rusty likely will say they have no doubt he is mentally ill after talking to him for just a few minutes.

he has zero real, actual suicidal ideation or tendencies
...yet

considering how much his life has been falling apart around him in recent months i wouldn't be surprised if that changes. lost his job, became homeless, that's brutal.
once he realizes that all his lawsuits aren't going to get him anywhere either, i think he's gonna have a mental collapse that might well end in suicide.

FTFY. We need to keep it in context that Rusty is at the core of every single one of his current problems either through retardation or actual criminal behavior. He is no victim of circumstance.

No, probably not. He's narcissistic personality disorder through and through, in my non-professional opinion.

Schizophrenics are sick. Russ is an asshole.

Disjointed thinking is more along the lines of being unable to maintain a coherent thought in conversation. Greer will knowingly alter the truth to misrepresent something in his own favor. Both states have a loose connection with reality, but the Schizophrenic is literally unable to keep a train of thought. It's where word salad originates from.

I've spent a lot of time around all flavors of mentally ill people. Russ is a bad person, probably enough to be categorized as a severe personality disorder. Schizophrenia has a legit physical component, which isn't entirely known to us, but we know it responds to dopamine and GABA.

Edit: Here's a pretty good example of disordered thinking in a genuine schizophrenic. It's jarring to see in person.

How much spergery are we expecting to hit the docket in his eviction case come the opening of the court on Monday?

By the time Monday rolls around he will have spent 4 days in his car. I would think he is pretty desperate by then. That is past the 72 hours that Schafer gave him to get his shit out, and he may already be out of luck by then if Schafer has a signed contract for someone else to move into the room on April 1st. By Monday he will have 48 hours to get back into that room before the new person Schafer has moves in, and at that point his eviction case is beyond all hope (although it already is, Rusty doesn't see it that way, but he will once someone else is physically residing in the room)

Honestly who would not consider an hero'ing after a week like Greee has had.

Please note, I'm not saying this to be in any way sympathetic to the little goblin. He deserves it all. IT'S UP AND AROUND Russ, not across. Everybody always gets it wrong.

Also Russ's ego will never permit an actual Mental Illness diagnosis outside of maybe depression. When the truth is he's some flavor of NPD Sociopath.

greee is far too much of a narcissist to an hero
His threat in a court filing strikes me as being from a vulnerable narcissist, who will constantly threaten suicide, but never actually do it.

He's not such a grandiose narcissist that he would carry out a highly-planned suicide as a final act of retribution or control.

Honestly, if I was Schafer, I'd have a friend sign a lease and "move" into the room just to say it is already occupied. When dealing with someone like Greer who lies, cheats, steals, threatens, harasses, etc... with impunity, fighting fair just leaves you at a disadvantage. If you don't level the playing field, no one will do it for you. I have no doubt some people would see this as morally dubious. I say it's ensuring a fair fight when the other side has no intention of fighting fair.

He'll file another EMERGENCY something-or-other. They'll send it back to him and tell him he has 7 days to fix some procedural issue with it. The problem with the IFP application is he hasn't served the defendant. It seems it's actually pretty easy to serve the defendant for $10 or so since he hasn't yet consented to be served electronically in this case.

I suspect the procedural problems means no actual judge will be looking at this case for weeks, if ever.

To avoid lawsuits from a gimpy-faced vexlit, I will keep things general and say the ad has the same unremarkable production quality + tone deafness of the pitch he gave to the West Wendover city council. There is excessive background on prostitution, little attempt to talk about the benefits of having a brothel in West Wendover, and no attempt to address common concerns (e.g. drugs, pimping).
Not only is it too long, but it's a weird run time (94 secs). Even if he somehow got that ad to air on a radio station, there is no way they'd play it based on the spot length alone.

Ideally, Greee would break this up into 3 x 30 second spots, and they would be varied, e.g. a spot spruiking the benefits of a brothel, a spot addressing the concerns you point out and how this proposal would allegedly solve these issues, and a more generalised spot introducing A Safer Nevada that doesn't even mention prostitution (or at least only mentions it tangentially).

Here's an example I cooked up using an AI radio ad generator. It wrote the copy based on https://www.asafernevada.org/about, however the original spot went for around 45 seconds because there are far too many words on the ASN about page. I trimmed it down to 30 seconds, see if you can pick the dodgy edits.

Copyrighted by Pee Cola. This is not authorised by A Safer Nevada, and has been produced in the interests of commentary and criticism. Try DMCAing Null or I over that, you drooly gimpy-faced shitstain
the ad makes no attempt to tell people interested in supporting where to go/whom to contact.
A simple call to action such as "visit asafernevada.org today" or "search A Safer Nevada to find out more" is all that's needed.

Speaking of necessities, I'm not sure how radio or TV spots for PACs work in Nevada (or indeed the USA), but would there need to be some sort of disclosure of such a spot? Such as "paid for by A Safer Nevada, Las Vegas" or "written and authorised by A Safer Nevada, Las Vegas"? I know over here, any political ad (either from a political party or a lobbyist such as an industry body or a trade union) needs to have the latter disclosure, though it's often sped up and at a slightly lower volume than the spot itself.

Sauce: a radio autist who has been around listener-supported community radio on and off for far too long, who may or may not have completed a short copywriting course.

Schaefer has said he's behind on HOA dues because of Russ's non-payment of rent. I think he needs the money from a real renter, and is highly motivated to find one ASAP.

(He was probably pretty desperate to be renting to Greer in the first place.)
