I work a labour job during the day, I'm a volunteer first responder who had 2 calls today which were life threatening, and Im on a board of directors for a historical society that raises money for veterans.
I use my actions to show my moral worth, you do nothing but use grandiose words that result in nothing.
He's probably one of the few people I wouldn't want volunteering, I would be worry he would take advantage of the disadvantaged.

BUT man it was tempting and he almost (inadvertently) baited me into it. I kind of feel that when a 26-year-old NEET is claiming to be morally superior and have more to contribute to society than anyone, some actual personal examples to refute that seem justified.

Obeying your parents is a major thing in Biblical Judaism.

Anyways Andrew, the point that I was making in response to your question about plans to make the world a better place was that I feel a bit world-weary because, unlike you, I actually went out and fought and sacrificed to try to make the world a better place. I found it to actually be pretty damn thankless and often frustratingly futile. Something you wouldn't know about because you have no experience with such things. Whatever, I tried, and I did make some small differences in some other people's lives without expecting or getting anything in return.
