💼 Careercow Kanye West / Ye - Arrogant Rapper With a God Complex Who (Probably) Likes His Asshole Fingered and Gave His Cousin Head, Mentally Ill and Taken Advantage Of, Hitler Did Nothing Wrong

I'm reminded of a point Null made on a recent stream talking about the music part of rap is really just a bunch of ripped off samples. Concert has been proving him right it seems.
That's pretty much all modern music, every chord sequence has been done before and every variation has been recorded, so they just sample/interpolate it on paper to cover their ass so that some band that sold 25 records in the 80s can't claim they were copied.

It's just that he can't bring himself to finishing the music he's working on, he's not acting like he seriously wants the music he makes to be truly great, like his passion is not in it.
Kanye's life is looping and Bully is just another comeback album like MBDTF. He knows deep down that once Bully drops and the people love it, nothing will change. He'll just be back to square one, depressed again and looking for something new. I remember him saying in an interview that he's already done everything he can do as a celebrity, and so now he needs to become a politican or a researcher if he wants to further change the world. That's why he cozied up to Trump, Fuentes, Elon, etc, and why he occasionally drafts up autistic sounding projects like DROAM. I'm not quite sure why but he seems to lose hope on that stuff. You can assume guys like Elon treat him like a child. Whether that's warranted or not, I don't know. What he did with the yeezy brand was pretty impressive after all.

Inspiring: Uppity Negroes soulful spirituals evoke feelings from council of Elders of Zion, Execution postponed and career restored.

One goyim familiar with the council said "I saw the preserved Rabbi Schlomi Goldblatt tapping his toes to the negro spirituals and the last time he did that 8 million jews died.

The goyim then burst into meat, and our khabbalistic anatomancer on site divined the meaning of his splayed organs as followed:
The tapping of my toes in 1935 was purely coincidental and had no greater meaning. Also it was 9 million.

We asked the steaming vessel of entrails if they forgive Kanye for his views, from the spleen and liver we gleaned the following information: Kanye didn't say any of that stuff. That was his chicken.

This is only true for slop-trained fans who absolutely need to be fed their media. It is easier than ever to find new and excellent music if you just put the slightest effort into it.

The truth of the matter is that most people like music in the same way that they like a shirt design, a painted wall color, or particular variation of a consumer product. It is decoration for their life that likely ossified when they were 17. They want music, because it is a part of the consumer experience, but won't lift a finger beyond a radio dial (or in this case, a Spotify feed).

I like the "unfinished" bully better than the new one..
Its just that theres too much going on for my ears, i think you can get used to it, its just not the kind of music i usually listen to. With combining samples and real instruments theres always some kind of inherent dissonance. Its not only that real instruments playing together are tuned to the same frequency but with the samples theres also compression and time stretching artefacts (theres this interview where they asked aphex twin if they could use a piano sample and aphex twin was like sure, do you want me to re record it for you in perfect quality with the right tempo and either Ye or his representatives were like "nah im good bro"). Sometimes it just sounds like it doesnt really fit together.
It can be used to great effect (in a lofi kind of way like ween or guided by voices recording on a cheap portastudio), I'm a fan of artists that lean into that, Madvillinary and that King Geedorah album, RZA has some cool stuff (36 chambers obviously and Bobby Digital, later Wu albums are more like what I'm talking about). But when you take that and polish it with a perfect mix and lots of dynamic range compression it just sounds like something it wasnt supposes to be (not quite polishing a turd but putting lipstick on a pig maybe?).
Also the demo or whatever its called be just feels much more personal or even honest, i can imagine ye sitting in front of a laptop just jamming wheras with the new release I just see a consortium of corporate producers and record executives in front of my minds eye..

edit: forgot to mention the AI stuff. I hate that shit for programming, i hate the fucking images and cringey videos, but I love what ye did with it haven seen or heard a more creative use of it.

The UK's Prime Minister does a hecking concern about Ye's planned presence at this summer's Wireless Festival in London.

This prompts Pepsi to pull their sponsorship of the festival:

This isn't the first rapper to get banned from the UK; in the 2000s the gov banned some Jamaican rapper cos one of his songs was about immolating gays. IIRC Snoop Dogg had a lot of trouble getting a visa cos of his drugs convictions.

EDIT: this just got mentioned on the Beeb midday news :story:

@Catch The Rainbow I got it down from around 650MB to 350MB, some loss of visual quality though not terrible and I kept the music the same. I had trouble getting it to upload to the site, though. And couldn't get it to accept being put in as an edit on the last post so I'm trying in a new one.

I'd hold onto your original if it's important to you though, as whilst this isn't too bad, it's noticeable with some artifacts.

Starmer has quite the weighty pair on him to whine about how antisemitism has no place in the UK, while letting hundreds of fighting age Muslims into his country every day. Fedposting is verboten, I know, but the world would be better off without that whiney faggot

The UK is so fucked lmao
The real test is going to come from the other EU countries' reaction.

I would love for YE to perform next door in a couple of weeks without an ounce of controversy. It would highlight the UK for the unhinged faggots they are. Unfortunately, I not optimistic.

Western Europe is probably a no-go. Maybe Poland will let him perform.
