With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

Nah it's extreme cringe. I think I've seen 1, maybe 2 people be as gay for Drake as people are for Bashir.
 
First Vimp and Bashir have a talk, which gets interrupted cause James Drake breaches Goo-rusalem once again.

Bashir wants to talk about their conflict yesterday, at first Drake tries to have the talk in the goo-room but Bashir convinces him to have the talk in the hallway. Doesn't seem like its going too well.

Bashir calls him out on his clothes being thrown out of the window (Laura, Vimp and Drake did this from what i've read)
Bashir stresses that they were just making goo. Someone (Laura) at the bottom of the stairs interrupts them by rambling for 5 seconds.

Bashir goes over why he thinks James has played the game dishonorably, and why he thinks James Drake is holding things against him.
James goes ooga booga and says why no box. Bashir explains that his father sent a TTS saying he was worried about him getting concussions, and pled for Bashir to not partake in boxing anymore.
This falls on the deafest of ears. Duanye interrupts to ask Bashir about the goo-process (lol)

This is going be to an autism carepost but:

The problem isnt just his idealized self but his entire idealized worldview. Lets take the point about Friendtank: Fishtank is inherently a torture snuff project, not a friendly sit around show, it never has been except for short bursts that were the exception, not the rule. But he has idealized the show to be exactly that, and he wants to mold reality to fit it.

Lets look at his religion: He sees it as a beautiful religion full of well read scholarly pursuit instead of a system to keep sub-60 IQ sandniggers in line.

Look at anything he does: It does not reflect reality usually but the way he would desire it to be.

I say none of this to put him down, I in fact respect Bashir a lot because as myself a devout Catholic I understand how modern Westerners react to someone who actually believes in their stated religion and how shocked and appalled they get when you fervently adhere to it. But everything he does is a result of what we've seen about his upbringing: Coldly academic parents, distant sisters, no friends, hated throughout school. It's not shock then he is inherently defensive and actively seeking to create an ideal version of the world.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Fishtank. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical throwing of bodily fluids most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Jet's outlook on advancing the culture, which is deftly woven into his characterization- his personal work in the show draws heavily from the works of Kubrick and Scorsese, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of character of the contestants, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something and their actions tell something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Fishtank truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humor in Mints' existential catchphrase "get raped 1 million times", which itself is a cryptic reference to Edward James' homosexual epic "Poor Little White Boy". I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Jet Neptune's genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Fishtank tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎
