That's more of a point on rigging. It's possible they rigged, sure. I think it was genuine just for simplicity, I dont want to theorize too far when I have no information. I understand there is a good reason to rig to avoid losing a fan-favorite, but I think it likely played out fair. Or as fair as Fishtank ever gets. Letting them collect after the bell is technically unfair if rules were hard-set, but, this is Fishtank, Jet etc. Content is King, rules are flexible. Still. I think They wanted to count it fairly, and the final count is the real count.
Season 4 candy challenge played out very differently with full on war for candy stashes, lots of fighting and tension up to the bell, to cut it hard at a time makes sense there.

I supported a recount thinking Bashir was out, however, when Ben went to the room a few minutes earlier and asked if anyone had left behind candy, Bashir said "I don't think so, but should I go check?" and Ben said "no, it's too late now, we told you to bring all your candy". So would they have recounted if Bashir or even Drake/Landon left behind candy?

Ben leaves tomorrow after elimination. Letty leaves Saturday morning. House is completely ghosted, basement locked. Final Elimination, who realizes they've been abandoned and leaves the House first wins.
 
If the final two are going to be Twins and Drake/Bashir then they need to do some sort of final challenge that isolates the players in separate rooms while competing in some way. Have them each work on some task with a timelimit and criteria to meet with production going back and forth gaslighting them about the other’s progress. Anything physical is out as the twins will get mogged. If it ends up being Bashir, it’s honestly more likely than not he throws the match to give it to the twins, but with how wound up Drake’s gotten I could see him completely obliterating them for the 50k.

If I wasn't a Drake fan, this would be my reasoning on why to root for him.
Cause I can definitely see Bashir letting the twins win, but I bet James would throw them across the room to win.

I think it is fully possible that prod wanted to rig, I just don't know.
An argument could be: Twins put all their candy gathering on Blane, when he didn't know all the locations. Sloppy of them but they were in a different situation than Bashir and Landon.
