Aladdin Remake Casting Salt

I could see it being controversial if the country in Aladdin was based on a real place but despite the culture being Arabic/middle Eastern inspired Agrabah is a fictional place so what does it matter what race the characters are?
The irony of this is that Aladdin and his people weren't even middle easterners or muslim in the 1,001 Nights. They were supposed to be far easterners. Far far away in a distant land and all that.

So basically he was Uyghur, which I don't think Disney would want to cast. China would ban the movie, which they wouldn't want because it's such a big market.

Also, a pig would make a more attractive Jasmine than any Uyghur woman.

^I don't know, but a CGI Robin Williams genie would actually be a reason to watch it, like if McDonald's Szechuan sauce comes back with Mulan Live.

Of course, if Will Smith gets the role and the sauce doesn't come back because "muh cultural appropriation," I've given up on new Disney.

Why the hell are they making a live-action Aladdin remake in the first place?
To remind us of a happier time when Americans could make films about the Middle East without either the right bitching about it being deliberate brainwashing to accept refugees, OR conversely, the left reacting against the right and thumping the movie in everyone's faces as a testament of Muslim tolerance to artificially bolster their fallacious argument.

Disney has decided to make easy money off of nostalgia since the young adults of today grew up on the Disney Renaissance films - and that's why they're remaking them all.

Oh, yes, and most moviegoers will go to see it anyway.

Wait, that was a real thing? I thought it was just a joke Rick and Morty came up with.

The live action Aladdin remake is currently having some serious casting issues for finding the people to play to two leads

Social media is even pitching in suggestions for who should play Aladdin and Jasmine. And as expected, its niche actors who mostly have no real draw in Hollywood.

Besides, even if Disney really did use an all Arabic cast, SJWS will still complain.
The obvious choice should be the Kardashain siblings. Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney could all take turns playing Jafar, and Rob and Blac Chyna could play Jazmine and Aladdin.
