Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

One of my wife's coworkers is trying to give away a malinois and she asked me to see if anyone I knew wanted one. Almost everyone we asked had the same unanimous reaction - fuck no lmao, because most people understand a maligator is a fucking handful of a dog to own and not for most people, the vast majority really. Yet way too many people don't have any kind of similar inhibitions towards shitbulls at all, even the ones that aren't rabid pitnutters are seemingly too afraid to admit they shouldn't be owned by most people, not just 'bad owners'.

A couple weeks ago I was talking with a man and he said something way too casually. That his pitbull mix had bit a smaller dog, so now that he's not allowed in daycares or around small dogs. This wasn't even the first time I had heard something like this. Maybe it's because I've encountered way too many shit owners but it didn't click in me until a few days later: why am I tolerating these types of people? Even if the breed isn't inherently violent, how do you know it won't attack a human?

I have cousins with a pit mix and a toddler and while it seems like he's never done anything, but I can't help but wonder if the breed does attack randomly. I could maybe warn them about it, but I wonder if they'd just get defensive over it. I've gotten bitten by a dog before and almost hospitalized 'cause of it. While it wasn't a pitbull, I quickly learned you just shouldn't own certain breeds if you're irresponsible because that makes you a threat to other humans.

There have been psychological studies done on shitbull owners and owners of fighting breeds; to no one's surprise, these people all exhibit much higher antisocial tendencies compared to the average dog owner. They see the animal as an extension of themselves, hence the ferocity in how they defend them, plus are genuinely so egotistically delusional they think they can be a dangerous dog's "master". It's a genuine fantasy for them. Combining this already existing tendency with "dog mom" culture and clueless owners who get duped by pit propaganda and we end up with shitbull culture.

On an even more horrifying note, based on what's been posted here + the activities of zoosadists/zoophiles profiled in Animal Control, I think a statistically significant number of shitbull owners have sexual relationships with their dogs. Shitbull owners are genuinely dangerous individuals and should be avoided at all costs. Whether they're macho douchebags or clueless dog mommies, both groups are open about valuing their dog's life over yours and your loved ones.

I think there's a third more nebulous type of shitbull owner; there's the first type you mention, hood rats and trailer trash of all races who know how dangerous their dogs are and openly flaunt it, the second type which is the delusional pit mommy that makes these things their entire personality and spends all day regurgitating propaganda about them being le wholesome nanny dogs, and then the third type which are normies that are inundated with said propaganda because that's all you're allowed to say about them in normie dog owner spaces. They might have reservations about them but they just don't want to be rude so they get one until it snaps and attacks another pet or small child and then it gets thrown into a shelter to resume the cycle.

The maulings continue until morale improves.

Remember Maren "Bundleofbullies" Peeters, freaky Dutch pithag who recently had three of her seven pits tear each other to shreds, then another mysteriously drop dead, only to adopt a retired fighter/stud from a dogfighting breeder?

Well, that dog "Lamborghini/Potato" was just mysteriously attacked and nearly ripped to pieces by an unknown "Shepherd" in a suspicious sounding incident with absolutely zero evidence of anything she claims happened.

She's wanting to start up another gofundme, but is afraid people will think she's just a terrible dog owner grifting her followers.

Even dogfighters are calling bullshit:

She's rapidly becoming more and more of a cow since killing her cash cow "Toof." Doing more and more bizarre stuff for views. Like letting the dogs make shit streaks on her furniture, and making a video where a dog drags its balls across her face. This was most likely another case of her own pits tearing into each other. Sounds like she's wanting $20k to pay for this one's vet bills if it lives.

I feel bad for her poor dogs. The feels is for them. They may be genetic failures of ticking time bombs, but they don’t deserve to be used like that for attention. The kind thing to do, which is put poor Potato to sleep, is so often the heartbreaking thing for the human.

How the fuck does this keep happening? Who loses almost half a dozen dogs between now and Christmas? Even with pits at this point she's gotta be purposefully provoking her own as well as other dogs into mauling for likes/donations etc.

I suspect she may be a part of a dog fighting operation.

Dog is still alive, she's still begging for donations:

She brought her 7-year-old son to the vet and had him sing to the dog. And she's also talking to an animal psychic.

8000 euros‽ I had a very expensive cat, over his lifetime he racked up probably $8,000 in vet bills. But it took him 16 years to do that.

I try not to judge what people spend on their animals, because see above expensive cat and it’s not my money, but I don’t think I could do that much at one time. Especially not in an instance like this where he might still die.

Poor Potato. No sympathy for his owner though.

Why do I feel like the symptoms and medical terminology she's using is made up? Panting could be from excitement or stress. Really comes across as a scam to get more money from gofundme.

Pet end-of-life care often involves not just a consideration of cost, but a consideration of quality of life. If this 8,000 euro treatment has a possibility of extending the dog's life, but there's a solid chance that he will endure agony during the medical care and then die anyway, is it worth knowingly inflicting that suffering on him because of your selfish desire not to let him go?

It's usually a complicated, personal decision. Though I doubt bundleofbullies thought beyond "I don't want Potato to die" and "People will give me sympathy and money for this."
