well, at any rate lets not deviate further from the topic at hand and see what Chris does next with the auction, I personally think he should just go on Esty. It is like eBay, but IMO it seems like its eBay but for hipsters...

Doesn't Etsy have like a 20 cent fee for listing something? No way he's going to spring for that.

.... Except Chris only accepted paypal for this transfer. Your "straight bank transfers" theory is shot down. And with "acceptance of bid" instead of BIN, they didn't have to pay now. Chris, of course, isn't shipping the item til he gets the money, which he won't.

I just can't get over the fact that he could have just set it at Buy It Now. Even after it was yanked repeatedly, he still frets that setting a Buy It Now price of $100 would carry the risk of leaving money on the table.

Sonichu would fit right in on Etsy. There's stuff on there that make Chris look artistically gifted and his comic plotlines look sane.

So can Ebay still pull the auction for infringement even though he's made an agreement to sell? I'm assuming someone had been reporting him for copyright violations and that's why the first listings were removed, so I'm assuming it would still be an issue whether he closed the auction or not.

I've never done the Ebay thing so I'm still sketchy on how it works.

If he just did many drawings like this for a small price, it would have worked out for him. His "fanbase" might have actually bought items with low buy it now prices ($10-$20). Sell ten doodles and that's a hundred bucks, right there. I know that Chris thinks his art is on another level, but anyone can see that he could make one of these things in an hour or so. But as usual, maximum profit for minimum effort is his game.

He just sabbotages himself. It's almost like he wants to be able to say "I tried selling Sonichu on E-bay. But it didn't work because of trolls." just like "I tried getting a job but I can't because of trolls." Hopefully he'll listen to the people that are attempting to get him to lower his prices. Selling doodles colored by markers is something that could bring him some pocket money.

Maybe this will help him put into perspective that money isn't easy to come by and one should wisely spend it....Maybe.

Sonichu would fit right in on Etsy.

Very true! He could open the CWCville Shop there and sell Sonichu art....just not for thousands of dollars.

Yeah, I wanted to know what is going on but I really can't find anything really in-depth explaining the situation. I know it was uploaded at up to 200$ but when I woke up today it was sold for 1000$? It was re-uploaded, too? I'm lost.

Just got back from work so might not know it all but from what I saw;
Uploaded for $500 BIN and $100 Starting bid, got to $13k roughly then taken down
Uploaded for $1000 BIN and $200 starting bid, got to like $15k then taken down
Then I think it was uploaded a few more times, each time with higher BINs and starting bids cos Chris was 'punishing the trolls'
And finally it went up for $5000 BIN only or best offer and someones just 'bought' it for $1000...aka a ween is messing with Chris and there's a full on tard rage heading our way.

Thank you! I read his facebook post and the comments but that didn't do it. Now i think I understand the situation.

I go away for sleep and an appointment and come back to 20+ new pages of comments and apparently missed "Round 5" of OPL's relistings, finding out that he apparently succeeded (pffft! FAT chance) in making $1,000 for his shitty shitty drawing. Nice.

Oh I can't wait to see his BASICALLY PROMISED!! tard rage on facebook when he doesn't get paid.

is this a new record for a "what will chris do when barb dies?" 94 pages? usually pops up around page 3

I know people will always keep asking "what will chris do when barb dies?", since it doesn't seem to be all that far off from now and is always at the forefront when thinking of Chris' future, but everyone should know the answer by now. He's FUCKED!!

But the question is, will that Endgame become an Apocalyptic tardsplosion on a level that even GodBear has never seen, with a supporting cast of Jerkops and Thieving Firemen surrounding the house as he goes full-blown holed-up psycho, or will it just be Chris doing *sigh*s and (:_( for weeks till he dies a slow feeble demise?

shit himself and do nothing

I'm not sure if Alec mentioned this, but Chris honestly and legitimately thought he was going to get 10k+ for his artwork when the bids soared that high. I gave him too much credit that he would at least be a little suspicious.

Yeah wasn't he saying something like 'the highest legit bidder must pay the FULL PRICE'....aka if the trolls got it to $10k, the poor person who bidded $100 for it would 'have' to pay the full amount? Oh Chris, you extortionate bastard you

On reflection, Etsy is definitely the right marketplace for Sonichu.
