To be fair, that's not especially scientific reasoning. My own personal experience has led me to the opposite conclusion for instance, but I also know that there's an infinity of other factors throughout life that make it impossible to know for sure. Granted, I don't think there's any possible way to test whether the molestation theory holds true without some truly despicable John Money behavior and a time machine, since no one could really say for certain that "if this did/didn't happen in the past then I would/wouldn't be gay." I don't believe all gays have been molested/assaulted/raped during their childhood because obviously that's insane and unrealistic, but to say there's absolutely no link based on 'personal experience' seems wrong to me, especially since there is generally proven to be a link between early exposure to porn/sexuality and other development outcomes
