How long can you store frozen sperm?

Cryopreserved specimens, when properly stored, will remain viable for an indefinite amount of time. Pregnancies have been reported for cases in which the sperm has been stored for 20 years prior to thawing and insemination.

Is the freezing process harmful to the sperm cells?

Approximately 50% or more of the sperm cells survive the freezing/thawing process. The fertilization capability of the surviving sperm cells is not jeopardized during the freezing/thawing process.

With his recent obsession with sperm and reproducing, he's starting to become a bit reminiscent of Lucas Werner.

I'm not obsessing about it. I was answering questions that was asked about it

Do some research about it. The child therapists said in the paper work that the ear infection caused significant delays in my early development which caused some major problems in my interactions with other people. I wasn't able to hear other people talk well so i didn't learn things quickly this forced me to have to think and act differently.

A single ear infection isn't going to cause the kind of scarring which significantly affects hearing for a prolonged period of time. That's something which happens when people have repeated ear infections or untreated ear infections (it's one reason why for a long time antibiotics were always prescribed for ear infections in children, even though the science doesn't really support their use).

Child therapists are not qualified to make that call, only an ENT is. Hearing is routinely tested throughout childhood and if any impairment is found it's tested even more frequently to determine whether it's deteriorating or improving (the impairment following ear infections is often transient and clears up on its own within a year or two).

It didn't ruin my hearing. I simply had a blockage in my hearing during critical months in my development which led to problems.

It's not normal to have numerous stages of backup plans to ensure that you reproduce, that you are able to cite when people challenge the feasibility of other reproductive scenarios you first proposed.

I very strongly doubt anyone ever actually told him that his autism was the direct result of an ear infection though. I would suspect someone made a much more complex and nuanced statement about how the two things interacted in some fashion, that he failed to properly comprehend and interpret.

The only thing that will stop me is if I die young or if I am sterile.

If I get much older and still haven't reproduced, I'd probably go to a sperm bank and get other men's wives pregnant that way. I intend to reproduce and so long as I still have viable sperm, I will reproduce someday.

Sperm banks don't take donations from mental defectives.

Or it's a lie his parents tell to excuse producing a r.etard.

I went to therapy today. All i got was their card. No other proof was I able to secure. I will say though that one of the things that stuck out that she said is she said that Melinda is my traumabond. She said that Melinda was trying to prey on me and that she was never really my friend the entire time I knew her. She said I should not interact with her at all and not have anything to do with her. My dad was also in the room with me for the therapy session this time. There were some things she said I disagreed with her on though. Like she said my ex lied when she said she was pregnant. And I disagreed that Melinda was never my friend. I also told her that i had said i won't do felonies but I might consider doing misdemeanors if necessary with Melinda. She laughed and said many people don't understand that type of humor but she understands. But I was being serious when I said what I said, so I think the therapist misunderstood me.

Do me a favour and look on that card for your therapist's qualifications (it should say something like "clinical psychologist", followed by her degrees and where she obtained them as well as the professional organisations to which she belongs), because she's saying things to you which no clinical psychologist should ever be saying to a patient and someone with your complex mental health problems shouldn't be receiving therapy from anyone who is not appropriately qualified. What does your psychiatrist say? You do *have* a psychiatrist in addition to a therapist, don't you?

She apparently hasn't yet grasped what a truly sick fuck you are.

We have another session two weeks from now where she will get a much clearer picture of my disturbed mind

They don't even take donations from average guys. Generally they require a bachelor's degree, which alone rules out more than 2/3rds of the population. Then there are height requirements, which are usually around 6'0--again, a single requirement which in itself eliminates more than half of men. Then mental and physical health screens, criminal record checks, etc. I'd be surprised if even 10% of men were eligible donors.

Frankly Andrew thinking that he could be a sperm donor is the most ridiculous lolcow ambition since Jan Harmond Dacion mentioned wanting to join the military and become a police officer. It's more ridiculous than Werner mentioning the other day that he wanted to get a PhD, since although he's intellectually and psychologically incapable of doing so, there at least aren't explicit requirements that would clearly prevent him from ever being able to do so no matter what.

MA (masters) and an MT (don't know what that means)

Because you have to freeze sperm at sperm banks which makes it less viable if i understand correctly.

sperm fresh out of the sack is very potent and has a chance of success close to normal intercourse.
You don't understand the process...
They take the frozen sample and sort out the viable sperm. Then the artificially insemination the eggs and implant the successfully impregnated eggs into the woman.

Edit:I described in vitro, not artificial.

I could be a sperm donor in the future possibly. As of right now, I'd have no chance. Its not a priority on my list though anyways. I'd rather just impregnate someone I know.

Andrew thinks he can become the next Jim Jones/David Koresh. Thinking he can become a sperm donor is minor league on the scale of his delusions.

What I'm getting at is that there are actually explicit rules that prevent someone like Andrew from ever possibly becoming a sperm donor, no matter what he does. Just as there are explicit rules that prevent someone like Jan Harmond Dacion from joining the military or becoming a police officer. That these guys can't achieve those dreams is literally a fact.

Andrew lacks the charisma and intelligence to become a cult leader, but there are no "rules" that he couldn't become one, even though it's still a space camp idea.
