I have secondhand experience dealing with retarded custody battles and can say with reasonable confidence that there is some part of Patrick, deep down, that loves his daughter. He's just so totally overbearing and controlled by emotion that he lets his tantrums get in the way every single time. He probably didn't even realize the consequences of signing away his rights at the time, all he could think was "haha jon and adrienne will surely be enjoying prison with this one!"

I always find myself wishing that I could be a fly on the wall of Pat’s brain for a day. I want to know his thoughts, his feelings, just what goes through that skull of his. Does he genuinely believe all of this bolster and bluster he puts out? Or does he shrivel down inside and cower at some sense of self doubt? I find the psychology of Pat endlessly fascinating, with the narcissism, the aggression, and the denial constantly trying to maintain a facade that no one is falling for.

On February 20th, I submitted a public records request to Pima County Sheriff’s Department regarding what Patrick called a false police complaint being made against him. See:

Who the fuck is Nancy Guthrie and why did Patrick murder her? Also, apparently, 99 other people want in on this info.
