I recently read the Ben Collins thread and decided to check the Onion Youtube channel. I was surprised to see that theyre still making videos. I clicked on this one and...

The irony is that the joke of the video is someone acting like some incredibly benign and insignificant thing is deeply traumatizing, but that's exactly what transsexuality is. "Mommy made me wear a dress to my aunt's wedding even though I wanted to wear a tuxedo!"

That explains why the Onion was doing long unfunny articles about JK Rowling's fairly milquetoast troon opinions. Unless this is a brilliant joke on several levels, in which case, fair play to them

On the surface it has the vague form of classic Onion articles but none of the humor. However, tbh, I might be prejudiced just because it's now owned and run by that worthless soyboy garbage Ben Collins, who needs to die screaming in a prison cell after blowing the dogshit out of his skull to the relief of his parents.

Fellow Kiwis, I want you to know this is 100% accurate but the video has so much more as well. Like her being a biter. I’ve always been confused by the troon and pooner claim that cis people are lucky that their gender identity happens to align with their biological sex, and constantly bemoan the fact that they suffer from gender dysphoria. I think for the vast majority of us, our gender isn’t something we think about at all on most days. Saying that I am a woman is the same to me as saying the sky is blue, or that water is wet: it’s just a known and obvious fact that I accept and then go on with my day. The closest I get to consciously thinking about my own gender is when I am filling out forms at the doctor’s office, and even then I just circle “Female” and move on. At least in my experience, I don’t spend any time at all experiencing “gender euphoria” because even though my biological sex and gender are fully aligned, it’s just not something on which it’s worth expending any amount of mental energy.

They seem to autistically categorise everyone as vacuous bimbos or macho brutes and don't consider the vast majority of normies who don't give a fuck about "gender expression" or "gender identity". (Or any sort of identity, lots of people define themselves by what they do or their relation to other people, rather than a feeling inside.) Or if someone's particularly nonconforming, they call them trans anyway.

I'd like to add, the characters are all variations of tr/pooners on their own. Alex (the other main character) is a woman, Kate uses (or at least used) he/him pronouns. The author changed the main characters' appearance multiple times (progressively making Kate fatter, primarily) and is, if the comments are to be believed, mean and territorial over ''her'' style (basically the early 2000s cartoon style) and has attacked people using her artstyle. Sounds annoying, thank fuck the characters will remain someone's OCs until the author fades into obscurity.

No gore, just 90s garbage. Also the artist draws the pooner "male" romantic interest as literally just a dude from the 90s. Like legit. The outside world sees HER as a "don't get my daughter pregnant!" type loser skateboarder. Why make her trans at all beats me.
