Fuentes does it to himself. I've watched this dude since 2018 and in all that time he hasn't kept a single friend. Sneako was the closest but he's in the process of ruining one of the few people who seemed like he honestly valued their friendship.

I mean. I personally am not in whatever the nane of the political beliefs he holds is. So I don't necessarily think that he's on "my side" in the first place, and never did. And really he makes it pretty clear he disagrees with some things that are fundamenetal to the political beliefs I hold.
I say that, to say. I don't really think I have any expectation, or emotional investment with him agreeing with what I think is the answer to any specific issue. Like I see specifically from some white nationalists, and their view of him (others that come to mind seem to see the value of what Nick is doing, like Emily Youcis, and her husband).
What I see Fuentes as from my point of view, is someone that is moving the Overton window, in a real, and noticable way. And one of the few people that I actually see trying to make moves politically to change things. Like trying to convince people that the Republican party isn't the better of two evils, and that it needs to be changed from within. "Holding your nose and voting republican" is the exact kind of mentality that lets politicians controlled by special interest groups continue to run our system. Becsuse even if people don't like it, they still support them because they think they can't let the other side win.
I personally wouldn't want his exact ideas of politics to be the norm in Americs. But the things I do agree with him on I think are important enough to appreciate what he does.
I should also be clear. That I don't expect him to personally be some great leader. He makes it pretty clear that he doesn't plan to he that. I see him more as someone guiding people in the direction that people should probably be heading. Which is to get into the political system themselved, get into the deep state themselves. Then change things, rather than hoping some political will just come along naturally and try to save us.
And I probably wouldn't have the view of him I have right now. If I saw literally anyone, especially someone with his popularity trying to do anything at all. I can't think of one, that does anything besides give their political talking points.
In fact it seems like most people are trying to do the opposite. They seem to want to attack anyone that questions the status quo of politics.
I also probably wouldn't have the view of him I do, if most of the criticisms (outside of one i think is pretty valid), I see of him weren't petty at best, and much more commonly bad faith criticisms that I think people would actually be willing to call out if it wasn't him specifically they were aimed at.
