I'm not a Japan glazer but this isn't a single source problem. Realistically it wouldn't surprise me if the biggest source of this shit is from Latin America at this point. Japan is obviously the biggest influence for these guys but the Japanese are no longer the biggest exporters, I suspect.

Some time ago @Gibs posted about the thread and said how "they only seem to discuss the game and are different from the rest of the fans". While at a glance this might seem true, something I wish to point out is that they are/were interacting with open pedophiles, one of whom is now banned (Manwithdaplan), and one who remains as the laughing stock. Now, why would people, who supposedly are not pedophiles nor support pedophiles, acting friendly with open pedos? Isn't that a little odd?
Even if we somehow give them the benefit of the doubt in regards to this, their base crime is playing the game in the first place. Blue Archive players have no excuse, if you play the game you are, at best, supporting a pedophile.

I've seen a few posts here and there worried that this nasty shit will be somehow normalized in the future, but that's never going to happen thankfully. While there are more lolicons on twitter than I initially expected, they still thankfully make up a very small portion of twitter as a whole. Besides, a lot them are probably from third world shitholes anyway.

Things like porn and hentai in general aren't considered normal already, with many tolerating it at best. If you were to tell the average person about your sexual preferences, they'd probably be creeped out, even if it was relatively normal, so what chance does this have?

Most people are still unaware that this shit exists and if you told someone that you're into this stuff, you'd either have the cops called on you or curbstomped. I'm no forture teller, but I can tell you now that this will thankfully NEVER be normalized or even tolerated by the majority, regardless of how many "antis" they expose.

Yup most of them just like to larp as Japanese but if you look deeper the three largest demographics either from LATAM,SEA or Eastern Europe.

I honestly agree - everyone seems to have an "unconditional love to Japan", somehow. I may sperg a bit, so I'll put it on a SNCA spoiler before my original point.
This ranges from shitlibs all the way to lolitrannies. Everyone seems to like Japan because of tranime or "culture", the "kimono" or some shit like that. And you even see some people who despise "tradition" drawing their own character in Japanese garbs (erm, cultural appropriation much, sweaty???). Not that I matter, honestly, yet this used to be a fucking fever back in the 2000s, with people in complete fucking denial about Japan, and still are. It's not a paradise, and it has a lot of issues, this being one of the largest of them. The other that I remember, was the crime statistics that Chinese Wikipedia page archives.
With that considered, the real question you raised is: why is the "save face" method that the Japs do becoming an issue? It's not even a matter of "you must become paragorns of social justice", rather, see the fucking issue, and look at what it is causing.
