You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

This is probably a European/UK and UK adjacent thing but long sleeve shirts with shorts specifically the old stereotype of school uniforms where it's the blazer, button shirt and tie with fucking shorts I mean the fuck is going on with the climate you're wearing a business suit above the waist and going to the beach below make up your oh and don't get me started on just a buttoned long sleeve with shorts cause that's straight up screaming I'm in the Hitler Youth.

Remember the TV show Big Brother Jake? It was on The Family Channel back in the 90s.
Decent little show, one would think it'd be out there on the internet somewhere, right?

Nope.

Currently I can only find the intro, a few clips and one episode on youtube in poor quality.

Irritating.

Y'all should go to see a stage or orchestral production, instead. Bonus points for reading up on what your going to see ahead of time to really impress the wife (and all but ensure that you'll receive your annual BJ a few months early).

If that sounds too blasé, throw a dine-and-dash in there to spice things up.

Stop giving rinse-and-repeat, pompous-ass, kiddie-diddling Hollywood your hard-earned money; support people with actual talent and feel a lil Ritz-y in the process.
Yeah, we’ll do stuff like go to an art show, a concert, something where it’s just us in a social setting. We’ll do something like this at least once a month. Just us, no kids.

But movies are never on the agenda because niggers love looking at dey sail foans during the movie and having regular conversations ruin the experience.

I know I already bitched about something today, but here's another -

People not brushing their teeth.
I don't mean to say we should all be obsessive about it, but ffs at least once a day would be nice and would help prevent cavities and gum disease.
Hate mint?
Get the Crest For Kids Sparkle Fun kind. It's bubblegum flavored and doesn't have that cold burn that "adult" toothpastes have. Also not as expensive as a lot of other brands that offer non-mint options, and has the same fluoride content.

Too many posts on tumblr and reddit by people whining about the consequences of bad oral hygiene.
(granted reddit is bots and tumblr is idiots, but on the off chance there's a redeemable human needing to improve themselves...)

This bullshit:

It doesn't help that it was an overtly Christian show on the Family Channel. Another show like that is Just the Ten of Us. Coach dad at a Christian school. Availability: nada.

And I'll double down on this with my gripe: if a media company exiles one of their properties to the Shadow Realm for tax reasons or what-have-you, someone should be allowed to immediately pick it up and sell it like they do with Night of the Living Dead. I grew up watching that Mighty Max cartoon, and I'd love to be able to share it with my kids. But, nope, even though I'm perfectly willing to shell out the money for a box set, it probably ain't ever gonna happen.

If you're calling to ask for a pick up, telling me the time first would be very nice. Do not lead with "I'm getting out of my situation", because it sounds like I need to pick you up NOW NOW NOW.

I'm doing laundry. I have the anti-static sheets. Some of the laundry STILL has static.
You can try:
  • Trim down your dryer time.
  • Add aluminum foil or tennis balls into your dryer .
  • Leaving the laundry in the dryer to cool down before unloading it.
  • Combine white vinegar, water, and hair conditioner as a fabric softener substitute.
  • Dying.
  • Splitting laundry into items made from natural and synthetic materials, then do each load separately.

Products that have both a safety wrapper covering the cap/lid and a safety seal on the opening.

In particular, at least one brand of mouthwash does this.

Of course, the plastic wrapper is just about impossible to open without teeth or a knife, even with an alleged perforated edge.

Then the inside tube seal is something forged by NASA itself using millimeter-levels of precision to avoid any packaging overhang while adhering the seal to the tube with aerospace-grade glue.

Meanwhile, someone like myself is just trying to rinse their mouth out, maybe kill a few germs in the process, and instead they're huddled by themselves in the corner, naked, mumbling something about, "it should be simple. It should be easy. I'm sorry I let you down mom," as a single tear rolls down their cheek, not out of frustration, but sadness.

People who're quick to dehumanize celebrities unless they do something self-serving to them. There's so many stories of people who'll praise one celebrity because they just met them for a 2 minute forgettable conversation or they did something that anyone else could've done.

But, celebrities are quickly an asshole the moment that none of those things happen and whenever they do stupid shit or get caught up, there comes the same people who're all like "I KNEW THEY WERE A BAD PERSON! BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME A HUG, DIDN'T GIVE ME A BLOWJOB OR ANYTHING!".

Why do self checkouts even bother having an "edit cart" feature when using it just makes it say to wait for assistance

I hate how people these days compare EVERYTHING to pop-culture. I was reading youtube comments on a video about the Rwandan genocide, and I saw like 3 comments saying "broooo this is just like the purge". Wow man, I'm really glad that you decided to share how you think this actual historic event in which real people died is just like the completely fictional event based on a premise that would never happen.

Honestly, it's refreshing to watch Graham Norton Show because it shows celebs in a casual, light setting with booze if they choose and they pretty much do anecdotes and shoot the shit unlike anything we'd see in the States' TV scrutiny.

Thread tax - meeting celebs, honestly - paying $500 at Comic Con for a 10 second signature is NOT meeting anyone or anything. If you haven't had a drink at a bar or stopped randomly to have 5-10 min convo that isn't just glazing someone and who thus had zero reason to even acknowledge you doesn't count. Everyone bleeds the same blood in this world, just bandaids that cover cuts have different nomenclature and value.

TT-
Goats. I fucking hate goats. If there was any animal without a soul, it's goats.
May I ask what did a goat do to you?

God damn, I feel that is directed at me.

I'm getting kind of annoyed by the overwhelming pedophile obsession people have.

Half the threads on this forum are completely unreadable because it's just dozens if not hundreds of pages of sperging about pedophiles or Epstein or lolicon anime or whatever.

I've even had people irl go "hey bro did you hear about that guy in Sacramento that raped a hundred babies?"

Uh no? Why the fuck would I ever seek out that information? I didn't need to know that shit, I would be much happier having never known that happened.
