The amount of incredibly bad faith distraction from the fact that Israel is an aggressive, genocidal state, and the US is its goylem is unbelievable.

The thing that would believably give them pause in doing so is the fact that their desalinization plants draw from the gulf. If the concerns were purely enviromental I'd totally agree but it would be the weirdest self own of the conflict so far if they started dumping oil into their own drinking water.

The leadership probably all have months, if not years, of bottled water stored away. They'll poison their civilian population and laugh while Tweeting AI videos about how it's Trump's fault.

The solution is it burns, so bomb kharg island and their major onshore oil wells, and their power supply. Can't dump what you can't pump. OPEC will increase supply, Russia like getting money.

Trump's major mistake was believing that the IRGC was like any ordinary army in that they would flee and scatter the moment their leadership was decapitated, when the reality is they're fanatics willing to die for their cause. They would sooner eat human flesh to survive than give up and come to terms.
