Feedback Technical Grievances

site performance has been very bad over the last hour for me. i looked at a few requests and the no-cookie subdomain is often taking upwards of 20s and appears to block things like the post box from loading. it's sporadic, it'll be fine for 5 minutes and then basically unusable for 20.

The upload issue with videos is fucking with me right now. It'll stall at loading the video, it'll display as corrupted and won't load the full video in. Sometimes it will randomly work after waiting a few minutes and refreshing but most of the time it's failed uploads that won't stop loading in.

I at least would not even know if it wasn't for the notice on the banner. Site runs maybe slightly slower, what I'm most impressed with is how unintrusive it is even during an attack. Who's responsible for it? Is it really just you and AI? Crunklord didn't help? Complements to the chef(s) whoever they are.

Same here. Other than a few hiccups I'd never even know we were being DDoS'd. Hats off to our Supreme Leader.

Clearnet. I've been uploading then leaving it on 'Loading Video' for 5-10 minutes and when I refresh the page it loads the video in correctly (I tried refreshing straight after uploading but this just fails so it does need some time). If I don't refresh it stays looking corrupted with the same loading message like it's stalled.

You can safely move off the post once it's uploaded when you see the gray screen where your video should be. Come back to your post a while later and you will see that it's there and working.

Yeah that's what has been happening. It'll load the gray box for the video (with a broken icon) but with the loading message still showing. If I leave it a little while it eventually loads in.
 
A bit of data leakage out of KF.

When an embedded youtube video cannot be shown and you click on the link (or the arrow) to watch it in youtube.com the url shows that it comes from KF. If you are logged into youtube Google now know that you might be a damned dirty farmer.

Just thought you might like to know.

the site is set up to instruct browsers no to send do-follow links. if your browser does anyway your browser sucks.
