Wasn't she supposed to remain alive in the original Colin Trevarrow "Duel of Fates" script? Luke also survived, if I remember.I still maintain that had Carrie lived it wouldn't have been as shit as it was. Damn human body system failing her bc she did coke while promoting her new book.......
From what I remember of the script leak, it was pretty "meh" but it still managed to sound leagues better than the Rise of Skywalker. I remember General Hux was going to be revealed to be a Jedi weeboo who collected lightsabers, which could have been interesting; albeit cringe but interesting. Also I believe the majority of the film took place on Coruscant? & Kylo Ren fought some kind of Sith-spider creature (what is it with Disney Star Wars & spiders???)
They're hard to remember because aside from The Force Awakens, none of them have a coherent story. They're just a bunch of unrelated chaotic scenes pieced together.Which honestly is weird because I'm a weird autist that even remembers the broad strokes of shit I have seen when I was 3 or something, but somehow the sequels are weird antimemes (scientifically speaking) that seem to escape the grasp of my memory.
I genuinely believe the theory that The Last Jedi tested poorly, and was heavily edited in post to switch the beginning fight scene with the ending fight scene (i.e. the red salt dirt planet fight would have been the opening scene) & to kill off Luke/keep Leia alive. According to the theory, the original ending was the Holdo maneuver, the Snoke throne room fight scene, than fading to black after Kylo Ren asked Rey to join him.
