Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

They still make them but they're a 1950s rifle design
i think they dont make them right now because of parts issues.

Its maybe an old desgin, but its superior to modern ones in every aspect- a real issue for any invasion if the old stock is still in good shape because cheap optics make them to a real long range danger

Small powerleveling based 100% on public information.
The part of this system that shoots bullets (the "Gun") is unimportant. This gun exists only to help the magic computer and Joe Grunt kill people 1km away consistently and without effort.
The capability to kill people consistently 600m, 1000m, or further, even in night and so on outweighs a "Better Gun" for humans. This is the reason it is "Super-Gassed" even at only 50% capacity or wherever.
You can account things like wind, but if this capability is severe over 600 meters, it is total at distances underneath that.
The Gun is a platform to facilitate the transition to "Modern Warfighters" (whatever the term is), with all the technology deploying now and in the coming years.
This is unfortunately one of the most damning aspects of the XM7 because the fancy XM157 optic is reportedly having a ton of issues and is being substituted for more conventional optics in the field. The 101st released a video of a training exercise they did lately and the XM157s are nowhere to be seen. At least Sig can't be blamed for this one, I guess since the optic procurement was separate of the gun and would be an issue no matter which one was chosen.

Catching up but 100% something is gonna happen, i knew the fucking ceasefires were a prelude to something violent and EXPLOSIVE! 1000090424.png
TOTAL MULLAH AND SEPAHI DEATH NOW NOW NOW!

CMON IRAN CHANNEL THE SPIRIT OF IMAM SHEKIR! AND SEETHE IMPOTENTLY ABOUT THE GREAT SATAN AND THE ZIONIST ENTITY WHILE BOMBING SANDNIGGERS IN THE GULF AWAY(usually pajeets BUT A WIN STILL)!

You don't have to agree with their response or even see it as logical. My point is you can't call it random and say it was for no reason.
Serious question: what is your highest level of education completed? It's breathtaking to see you attempt to come up with two braincells to rub together so you can comprehend a single sentence or understand the difference between motivation and outcome.

No shit it was done as retaliation for US and Israeli military action, dumbfuck. The timing makes that clear. That component is so obvious it goes without saying and isn't even worth discussing. 'No apparent reason' applies to the obvious outcome and wisdom as a result of taking that action against nations that aren't the active aggressors against you who you rely on to varying degrees for your nation's functioning, you simpering obnoxious little Groyper faggot.

No sane person or nation on earth would think that employing such a tactic would be wise or have a positive outcome for them. What, precisely, were they trying to accomplish? Hence "no apparent reason," it served no purpose within the realm of sanity to accomplish anything that would serve to their benefit.

Let's use an example that you'll understand. If you got sentenced to 5 years in prison for incest for fucking your sister, and proceeded to punch yourself in the face out of frustration at sentencing, I would also say that it was for no apparent reason. The cause is obvious, but what are you trying to accomplish by doing so?

It's quite frankly remarkable that we have people supposedly within our own borders as fucking stupid as the IRGC braintrust, yet here you stand.

UAE is quitting OPEC and OPEC+ on May 1.
This pretty big news. UAE going free agent can really upend markets.

They've been edging on this since 2020 (possibly earlier), due to the constraint OPEC membership puts on their production. Saudi uses OPEC as a protectionist scheme for its own oil profits, which means a smaller partner like UAE always loses out. Outside of OPEC, they can expand production to meet the market rather than curtailing when Saudi wants a profit boost.
UAE and Saudis have been butting heads as the UAE tries to set up a soft power empire. I am guessing the rifts are bigger than they seem if UAE is dropping out. UAE and Qatar were also not happy at market rate drops as Iran and KSA funded their proxy war in Yemen.

I would guess maybe UAE is expecting to need a lot of funds to rebuild infrastructure, and this is them not waiting reconstruction to limited by KSA/Qatar.

I only dreamed about my school blowing up. Gen Alpha kids out there making it happen for real.

I am still wrapping my head around just how badly Iran utterly fucked up.
I'm curious if this will make Iran drop US troop withdraw as a condition for talks (lolno)

Or Iran was tricked by agents of the (((Zionist Entity))) who are secretly controlling the Ayatollah to go full tard mode to unite the Middle East and make them accept that (((Israel))) is a legitimate state.
Obviously this is the only plausible chain of events to describe the depth of Iran's failures. Israel used their zionist jew magic to compel Iran to chimp out on its neighbors, implode their own economy, murder their own people, and poison their own water supplies.

You're at war with someone and that someone calls you and says "Hey bro, you're TOTALLY winning this 'cause we're about to collapse over here"
Iran trying to invoke the Mercy Rule.

Meanwhile, the country that swears it's the greatest mediator on Earth.

Not just this, but they had their islamic loans from both countries called as well.
Pakistan going to war with Afghanistan just so they can feel superior to someone.

Without gas, without fuel, without Kashmir, without Izzat. After Iran, Pakistan is the biggest loser and that's only because Iran actually got bombed.
THEY HAVE NO GAS
THEIR POWER PLANTS ARE OFFLINE
THEIR IZZAT IS GONE
WHOA BUDDY

Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has largely stayed out of public view, communicating mainly in writing, though sources close to him say he has mostly recovered from injuries sustained in the initial attack on Iran’s leadership compound, can now move independently, and bears a visible facial scar, according to Foreign Policy.

➡️ He has survived at least two additional assassination attempts during the war and has therefore maintained a low profile for security reasons.

➡️ Mojtaba remains politically active and has met with President Masoud Pezeshkian while personally responding to messages, including one sent to reformist leader Mohammad Khatami, signaling efforts to build broader political support.

Oh, so things are really bad in Iran

What, precisely, were they trying to accomplish?

If I had to guess, maybe one of their goals was to get those GCC proxies to exert pressure on the US/Israel to end their attacks. You're dealing with a much smaller military with very limited options that they can use to respond to outright attacks by the largest military in the world. So if it makes it easier, I suppose we can consider it a form of guerilla warfare, rather than a logical cohesive defensive response waged according to video game rules.

I guess we could lean on you to detail what their best response would have been. From what I understand, you have a PhD in Middle Eastern studies with your published doctoral dissertation on 8th Century Religious Beliefs in a 21st Century World (quite the read, lemme tell you - great job).

Anyways, enlighten us as to what the best response to the US/Israeli attacks would have looked like, other than just them laying down and letting us plant pride flags all over Tehran.

What the fuck are you even talking about at this point? You genuinely sound like an insane person.

Please stop derailing the thread by pinging me, we've clearly both said everything we need to say to one another at this point and are rehashing a slapfight rather than remotely discussing any news.

Alright, one last thing though since you seem to honestly think your position is logical. Explain to me why we shouldn't care that our GCC allies have historically funded and continue to fund ISIS and al-Qaeda affiliates, and why we even put a former terrorist leader in charge of Syria, and removed the $10 million bounty that we had on his head for maiming and murdering countless Americans over the years. Yet despite all this, we're supposed to be more concerned with fucking Houthis and Hezbollah?

Make it make sense, I'll hang up and listen.

Meanwhile in reality, national average prices are 5:46 for Diesel and 4.17 for regular unleaded.

Holy shit my $3.53-$3.69 seems like a good deal.

Go suck BRIC
I'm stealing this.

UAE is quitting OPEC and OPEC+ on May 1.
The year is 2019.

If you told me that by 2027, Finland would be in NATO and UAE would quit OPEC, I'd call you an unrealistic dreamer.

We removed the bounty on Al Joulani because he showed willingness to chill the fuck out and keep his shit to Syria instead of "export jihad globally" like his now-dead former buddies.
And FWIY a bunch of Dems and even establishment RINOs got assblasted about this move, so keep that in mind

Also FYI global export of jihad is just as bad when shiites do it as it is when sunnis do it.

And for someone so readily willing to just assume nearly the entirety of the Siloviki in Moscow have totally turned a new leaf and hold no grudges against the West, your hand-wringing over the idea that a single former AQ guy is pragmatic enough to put his past behind him comes off as some serious stones thrown from a big glass house.

I'm bored with muh school. Obviously the US and Israel hit over 17,000 non-school targets
This is why I laugh when some tourist and/or sock troll steps in to say something to the effect of "looks like Israel's getting hammered!" or "Iran's seriously proven their ability to hit US bases!".

Like a low double digit number of leakers and lucky hits is gonna break America or Israel while Iran is just gonna shrug off well over 10,000 precision strikes.
