Instead of saying "Interesting. With edited content I managed to get the views up in comparison to unedited videos by almost 10x. The average watch time on the unedited content was also pretty low. Having 5 minutes of average watch time on edits content means I was not able to retain the viewer's attention for a longer period of time, I'd need to change something and improve it",

he goes the typical Phil route and instead says "See, Youtube's stuff doesn't even work. Their analytics are so stupid".

This is a guy with a supposed to have a business degree...

He also just constantly claims people "aren't interested in the game". Like what is the common denominator here? Literally every game he ever plays people "just aren't interested in" apparently lol.

Is it just me or is Phil's main income now completly depenDENT on two whales? Or is this just a phase where the other known whales are reloading their bank account before busting on Phil? And on friday we have his butsting stream (he hasn't changed that typo yet has he?) and I bet he will expect at least 1k in income. and of course he was begging Asmon for another visit. Asmon is now experiencing what Warski described as "We felt like we adopted an autistic son that we are now responsible for".

This part is legit (sorta), even bad games before 2012 are funny and you don't need to worry about DEI/AI slop and the like and most of the gaming icons were there pre-2016. However, it's also very clear here that Phil is taking advantage/using other people's words to dodge blame/cope about his inevitable demise.

The gaming industry might now be the most corrupt Industry in all of America and might as well as be dying, but it sure has nothing to do with him being unlikeable and about to be flat-nuked by YT.

Its definitely the case, mixed with it being the end of the month. Let's not forget that usually their checks come on the first.

Every month it's the same pattern they wait the whole week before the marathon to then splurge on him.

But there's the possibility he pissed off enough of them to be only left with 2-3 whales, I doubt it though.

I guess that's why he's been aching for a collab. Theses last few years every time he got in the low whale zone his pigroach luck kicked in and offered him visibility through collabs.

As someone said last time I brought up the whale cycle, it'll be difficult to top the asmongold interview for the pigroach luck.

Idk, as someone who doesn't play vidya anymore it really seems like we're spoiled for choice right now. I'll agree that AAA titles are all garbage and the state of FPS games is dire, but I don't remember there ever being so many games available for reasonable prices.

Between emulation and remasters you can play only great games and never run out of content.

Why in the everloving fuck did he give Vaporeon a pokemon that doesn't know any offensive dark moves except bite the held item Blackglasses which boosts dark type moves by 20%? I saw that and I felt my brain start melting.

Also its very remarkable how easy it is to hate him even when he is just doing the most normal things. He took a sip of iced coffee and I was ready to smash his teeth in. I think I need to take a break from him.

I recently dipped my toes back into the Snortex. It seems Philbert is now a buff, melon dollar man type of guy. While he still begs, he seems more comfortable with talking about his wealth and success. Recently he talked about ordering new furniture and he has two gaming PCs and seems to look for any reason to spend money. Nothing new I know, but he is no longer talking about needing money for groceries. Is he making more money than he was 3-5 years ago? Because his viewership seems lower than ever, but he talks as if hes better off now than ever.

Or is he making the same amount (or less) and is reframing it for whatever reason?

I'm interested to see if emulation is attacked after all the recent kerfuffle over DRM by Sony potentially locking you out of digitally purchased games if your PS4 / PS5 doesn't connect monthly to the internet. With XBOX almost fully committed to gamepass as its future and nintendo doing fuckery with its physical games still having to connect to the internet to verify licenses. It's almost enough to send me longing for the time before RCA jacks and you had to hook up the nintender with a UHF adaptor... IMO the prime of gaming was the early 2000s, Sony finally had a real competitor when XBOX released, and the gay console exclusive wars started.

If Phail actually hated modern gaming and the endless slop, or "suhlahp" as he calls it, that the modern gaming industry churns out on the reg, he'd mostly play old games. That's what I do, I fucking hate the modern gaming industry so I play older games 90% of the time. But as peepul have said a million times already in this thread, he fucking hates gaming both new and old and he's pretty much the intended audience for the shit that gets churned out today anyway. It's clear that the only thing he cares about is drama, which is what he should pivot towards.
