In terms of gender surgeries, we get 11000 - 13000 done a year and they've got less than 4k in the last few decades. Obviously country size is different but still. I don't know the statistic on re-transitioning, but I do know that most transgender people detransition due to societal pressure to not be transgender, not out of confusion.

For most trans people in the normal lot, this conflation with other insane troons, the alt-right's idea that most trans people are pedophiles, etc pushes them further into the closet.
