Had a coworker like that. Finally got his license back and bought a early 00's caddy. Expensive rims and $300 a pop designer tires. Never put a dime into keeping it running. Another coworker has the tires and rims sitting in his garage now for the past like 6 years.

Personally, I never subscribed to the whole "he's only doing it to piss people off/get attention on streams" theory. I really think he's legitimately out of his goddamned mind at this point. Her too.

I find this wonderfully poetic. He bought this car as a status symbol, a way to big-note around his town when he was at the top of his game, a way to show off how much of a player he was to all of his favourite daughter's friends. Now, his internet fame is gone, his credibility evaporated, and that status symbol of a car has become a beaten up shadow of its former self; physically broken and sounding like it needs serious remedial help - just like the zesty man that drives it.

He can't see how broken both he and the car have become. He can't seem to understand that nobody takes either seriously. Everybody just mocks and laughs.
