It doesnt matter what way you slice it, they both set horrific examples for their children. Both of them are horrible addicts with 0 self control, neither has any follow through or work ethic (or any ethics for that matter), Nick barely streams and Kayla is a SAHM who does no housework and just watches star trek all fucking day. All the lessons theyre getting about being an adult is live off your trust fund and make 0 positive contributions to your or anyone elses lives. The fresh hell they likely go through with their friend groups knowing their dad fucks coke whores and their mum got toed.

Then theres relationships, teaching the boys to not settle for a woman, ignore all that monogomy stuff and go fuck whores when you get bored. Worse for the daughters, whats the lesson there Nick that your daughters should aspire to be a side piece to some other womans husband and be locked in a crack shack and only be allowed out for a quickie when the wifes away? Or when their highschool sweetheart proposes to them in a few years they have to have in the back of their minds in 15 years when theyre old and busted theyll need to accept the 20 year old mistress becoming the 'second mum'. The stereotypical 'my father will shotgun you and bury you if you cheat on me' is the opposite of Nick, he'd probably high five them and share stories.

The one saving grace may be that the Nanny largely raised them so they still have a chance.
