I'm a few pages behind, but now that my bullshit ban is over, I want to know who the faggot ass janny is in this thread who thought this obvious joke was "thirst posting" to the point of a temp ban. If anything I fucked up the wording and it kinda sounds like I want Evil to fuck me. There's nothing more pathetic than trigger happy jannies who think sweeping up for free gives them power. I hear you, that's why I'm trying to steer it back to why I think the Danhausen vs Miz match is a misstep.
 
Regarding the topics of conversation from the weekend.

1) Even if AEW doesn't end up back on TBS/TNT they're still going to get a tv deal. If shitty ass TNA is on television, AEW will be too. The whole two more weeks till they're dead hate cult around AEW has got incredibly tiresome at this point and only a retard would take them seriously.

2) I doubt Roman goes anywhere but it wouldn't completely shock me just because TKO has a history of not wanting to pay top guys in UFC. But at the same time he's one of only like 3 guys who I think would get casuals to turn in to AEW out of curiosity so they'd be retarded to let him go.
 
Releasing New Day, who already had renewed deals to last till 2030 is bullshit. Maybe chasing "dynamic pricing" and stretching the catalog to 4 different sites does not generate money. We need Vince to come back more than ever.

It was never intended to be a profitable venture. It's a dad spending the wealth he's built to make his kid happy. Shahid Khan is worth well over $10-billion. Even if he Shahid only gave Tony 10% of his net worth as an inheritance, and Tony just streamed AEW on Honor Club and lost as much as WCW lost in its worst year, every year, Tony could keep AEW going for over a decade. It's not going anywhere unless Tony loses interest. It's the situation with Dixie and TNA on steroids.

Outside of WWE, every wrestling company that got big over the last 30 years has only existed as a rich person's plaything that they sunk money into because they liked wrestling. WCW for Ted Turner, TNA for Dixies Carter, AEW for Tony Khan.

With how disastrous TKO has been lately, I don't put it past the realm of possibility that we could see Roman in another company.
Either that or he's just going to leave and go to Hollywood.

It's finally becoming a profitable company because they aren't running giant stadiums half full of people and spending years releasing a buggy, shit video game. Now if they could just clean up their roster and start booking better, the sky is the limit.
They are losing significantly less than TKO so technically it is more profitable than WWE currently because they actually are turning a small profit.

Depends on what "pretty majorly pushed" means? Could a guy like Damien Priest be considered "pretty majorly pushed?" I could see him taking the cut to chill in the back.

I think Tony shoukd hold off on breaking open the piggy bank too fast. Next year or two there may be fish in the water bigger then he could ever dream.

If I were Tony though I would scoop up Kairi and new day. They were booked as medium talent in WWE but he can make them big time if he booked them correctly.
He can have Kairi come out night one as a heel and just throw an open challenge out to other wrestlers. We could get a bunch of those Japanese dream matches that he loves so much, and it could culminate in her beating Toni Storm.
Fingers crossed that nobody at AEW has heard of kiwi farms and that they let the new day come in under their initials and they actually are a black tag team called TND :lol:

That sounds fucking awful lol. Open challenges are played out, lazy booking. If anything, Tony would put Kairi with Mina and she's stuck in the tag team vortex again. Even if there were some kind of singles run I don't need to see Kairi face the cringe horse Mercedes or cringe fatass waddler Toni again. Kairi might as well go back directly to Stardom for the whole dream match thing without the AEW stink on it. Kairi would get the biggest push in Marigold, whatever you want to say about it she'd be treated the best there.
