Sometimes I'm glad I know nothing about JavaScript as I ponder things like: Can a JS set a variable at the end of the file so you know it's fully loaded, or a checksum, or something, and have a helper script inline on the main page that could force reload if something goes awry with the JS(or maybe even CSS) loading.
 
Getting an issue on the video player where I can't open the cog menu to set the video resolution because it cuts off at the point the player bar meets the video itself.

Not that I need to see Anisa's husband in any higher resolution but in general it seems like a lil problemo.
 
The highlight function isn't working for me atm. When I press the forward button nothing happens, but the backward button still works for some reason.

The one thing I have to watch out for is when I have the same thread open in multiple tabs in order that I can review what I'm replying to at the same time as I'm writing the reply. I believe both tabs will write your current reply state to some kind of store and I lost a bunch of writing once when I switched to BB Code mode only to find that it loaded from a stored version sent by the other tab, which didn't have a lot of my reply in it. At least that's my guess on what happened because switching to BB Code mode shouldn't delete a bunch of what you've written. Changing back naturally didn't restore what was lost.

I just say this as a caveat when dealing with any kind of multi-tab replying, not as a counter-argument to your proposal.
 
Two things I've noticed lately:
1. The highlight function/feature sometimes simply won't load in a page, requiring a refresh to be visible and usable again;
2. Sometimes the forum will just send a post to oblivion; I'll type the contents, sometimes even upload media, and when "Post Reply" is clicked, the draft is gone but nothing is added to the thread. I've seen that happen twice in the last few weeks even though I don't post much, and in both cases it was just before a Tartarus refresh occurred.
 
Did this site get Roskomnadzor'd, or is it my phone being retarded? Would only work through onion, even VPN that makes shit work would not let me get through.

Because your session had already timed out and the request hit the WAF. When you refreshed you got the challenge and completed it. I'd have to edit the XF base JS to handle that and I am not sure I can.

we've had issues with Roskomnadzor and our site has flickered on and off its firewall.

Isn't there a way to ask for permanent permission to edit in a particular thread? That would definitely make my job adding to that thread easier.

in Brave on Windows 10 i have an issue every so often where when i try to full screen a video the page will be replaced by a Brave error screen with the error STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION. it doesn't happen consistently with any specific video. if i refresh the page and try it again i can full screen the video that caused the error before with no issues

i'm not able to reproduce this error reliably. it could just be an issue with my machine and browser configuration. adding it here in case it helps in the future
 
Apologies in advance for being a fucking retard phone poster. If this is a known issue, also sorry.

iPhone/Safari - restarted phone, cleared cache. If I try to access later pages in certain threads, I get the following error

‘A problem repeatedly occurred on ’ Example URL would be https://ki... sites. Again, sorry if I’m being retarded.
