He favors his mother. Genetics is a funny thing.

Speaking of parents, though, do we know anything about Bob's first wife? I mean, what's her personality like? Why did they divorce? Is she still living? I mean, if they'd worked out whatever differences they had and remained together, and she'd had Chris, would he have been better off?

Bob seemed like he was sort of an introvert, a little self absorbed so perhaps it was just a lack of intimacy that led to her splitting with him. He seemed like such a mundane person that I can't imagine he was abusive or was sleeping around. Who knows. Almost anyone would have been a better mother than Barb to Chris.

I guess the Cole's dad story influenced my curiosity, seeing as how Barb doesn't mind lying about who her child's parent is. Wouldn't it be an interesting thread in Chris' story if his mom had fooled Bob into thinking he got her pregnant so she had a breadwinner? I think Chris' REAL father looked remarkably like Homer Simpson.

Actually old Bobby was quite the extrovert around normal people. Get the bastard on the phone and he would talk for hours about anything.

I'm pretty sure he was just quiet at home because he had only retards at home to talk too. Really if you only had Barb and Fatty around would you bother to talk?

For some reason, the first time I heard the term "q-sand", I wasn't thinking of "quarter sandwiches". I thought it sounded more like some kind of mushy pudding or applesauce that looked kind of like wet sand, and the "q" was short for "quick" as in "quick sand". When ever Chris tries to sound hip, his words sound either really stupid or just make you scratch your head in confusion.

Also I was told about an audio clip of Bob where he was talking about how having a keen interest in the world was important at a church gathering, and I wanted to use it for editing the "Chris and race" page on the CWCki. Problem is that I'm having trouble finding it. Is it up on YouTube anywhere or is there at least a transcript that someone could direct me to?

Haven't listened to it in a long time but "church gathering" = this one?

She may have been cheating on him. He was an engineer, which probably entailed long hours and a good work ethic... but maybe he was distant with the missus and not there for the children. Sad story, old story. The kids grew up and in the fullness of time came to resent him. If infidelity was a factor, it would have really hurt if they'd sided with her, and Bob was too much of a stand-up guy to call her on it in front of them. Did any of Bob's kids make an effort to mend fences with their dad during his last days?

I wonder what type of brony the original one is. Does Chris just watch MLP, or does he find it sexually appealing?

I realize this might be a what if, and that questions need to be within the realm of possibility, but what are the odds that Chris will ever tell a funny joke?

If he didn't steal it from somewhere else, I always thought the part in Sonichu where the 4_cent_garbage trolls "check out" at the end of their shift by chugging Reeb till they pass out was legitimately amusing.
