The "I'm tracing you right now pal" line always reminds me of the Jessi Slaughter video where her dad says he backtraced the trolls lol
Its a tie between that or the navy seal copypasta for me lmao

"As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot."
Classic.

Well hey, this guy's got a full verti-assault team he can send after trolls.

Can't forget about this Enclave soldier encounter while you're in the oil rig; his tone shift to when he's annoyed is still great voice work
With ResProj. the Navy Seals Copypasta team does ambush you outside Gecko. You can ride their vertibird to IIRC take a shortcut to Navarro.
Sgt. Hartman
Inspiring. Obviously a man with a mission.

I forgot to mention this earlier, but in the Enclave Reborn Redux submod for Old World Blues they reuse a bunch of this guy's lines for unit responses.

Also Dornan, obviously.

That's the Salvatore transaction in New Reno. While on topic, you were also going to be able to make it to Oil Rig from a vertibird in Navarro, but that route was cut, I don't know why but probably something to do with breaking scripts related to the tanker.

You can see how the writer of the Wiki is trying his best to make sense of this

The wikia adding shit from the TV Show was one of the most horrible things a wikia can.
Even the superior fallout.wiki has the stank of the TV show, it sickens me.

But there is a obvious contrast between the quality of worldbuilding in FNV and the show when there's a subject in both
Screenshot 2026-05-19 200142.png

FNV: Dense worldbuilding and factions making logical decisions to further their own goals, explanations for even the percentage cut House receives from street vendors

The Show: The Strip is now abandoned and filled with DEATHCLAWS released by the ENCLAVE. The plucky heroes and the heroic NCR reclaim the Strip for the people, then fight the evil LEGION!

Bravo

Wait, how do the Deathclaws of Quarry Junction remain? Pretty sure every player at a point kills them all, is the show saying the Courier is lazy or afraid of the lizards?
It's basically confirmation that the only ending permitted is some bastardized Wildcard Speedrun Sabotage, since literally any other force would be able to amass enough guns or explosives to just level the place- and even that's iffy, since you'd still have mercenaries at one's disposal with the entire income of Las Vegas to pay them with.
Even Lanius Legion would have howitzers and enough momentum to crush them under a mass of bodies, and it's a much easier route than the circuitous one to the Long 15.
Of course, that assumes it's not nuked to shit by Ulysses, but that would require the writers to actually consume the content they're jeeting up.

This feels so lazy, I don't like the hype of the Tunnelers Ulysses does (I like them as enemies tho), but if they are going for "the Strip is taken by wild animals), why not use the Tunnelers? Because there is none in FO4 and 76, which they assume are the games the watches played?
Because they didn't play the DLC, let alone the base game more than maybe a couple times.

Why not both? Watch someone else's gameplay footage instead of playing the game and, since sitting through a 40-hour playthrough would be boring, just watch a speedrun or two?
