Elevator & Escalator Club - "I LOVE THE ELEVATOR AND THE BUTTONS AND THE SOUNDS TOO"

What do you think makes foamers and airheads so common in society but elevator lovers not? You see far more elevators and escalators daily than trains and planes, I'd assume their numbers would be reversed.
Planes and trains stick out more in society and are featured in movies/TV shows. Nobody gives a shit about an old elevator in a building on the other hand. You can also own your own plane and fly it if you get licensed to and have enough money to maintain it/keep it up to date with all regulations. Most people stick with Cessnas but there are people who buy retired airliners for use as private jets or who fly around retired military aircraft.

On the other hand nobody gives a shit about an old filthy elevator that smells and shakes when it goes up.

This guy is like the Aaron Specialneeds of elevator autists. He lives a few towns over from me but I have yet to see him in the wild

He's also really into Home Improvement and likes to upload videos of his TV screen halfway through random episodes

edit: different guy but these are too good not to post

Start 'em young.

I stopped being fascinated by escalators when I was, eight.

That's when I got into trains instead! Much more exciting!!!!

I'd say it's specifically because you don't see trains and planes as often in daily life, which makes them more effective at capturing the imagination.

Take a plane or a train. They move and change. They do different things and take you to different places. They've conquered new frontiers and developed into cornerstones of society and culture, making rich histories in their wake. Even normies get a kick of trains and planes because we associate them with adventure and change and other grand things.

Then you have the elevator. It's a little box that goes up and down, nothing more, nothing less. There's at least one on most any tall building, and you're likely never on it for more than a minute. Depending on where you work or live, you probably use one every day, so it just becomes a routine part of your life. Which is probably why these autists like them, come to think of it.

Although I will admit, elevator surfing sounds kind of awesome in an action-movie sort of way.

So, yeah, that explains EVERYTHING!

Certainly, action flicks certainly make it sound that awesome until someone dares it.

Please watch this beautiful specimen get angry at an elevator that was updated for safety.

Find out what was the "straw that broke the camels back RIGHT HERE."

He also kind of looks like Chris lol enjoy this bonus video of him angrily discussing the hatred of autistics. My favorite part is when he mentions "you probably couldn't tell I have it"

He also does videos on the public transit buses. Please listen to this informative video that is a guide to preparing for looking at elevators. Very important information here.
