Some small ambient noise.
"Laki and Loki! Probably the first kemono suits that were very popular in the US. Unfortunately, the creator (known as Fuzisawa at the time) no longer associates with the furry fandom.
Maker/Suiter: http://redseedblue.tumblr.com/"
"There was a lot of drama in 2010 with people copying Loki and Laki's designs, but I believe the final push over the edge was her being assaulted at Anthrocon 2011. I was told she threw away her fursuits and only does art on her tumblr now."
"Photo is showing the "birth" period, later in 2009 FZSW would coin today's kemono fursuit style with Laki and Loki! Sadly, she left FA and the fandom after sexual harassment at AnthroCon 2011 but was already very upset about the western fandom before due to people making/selling bad copies of her OCs as their own "original" dragon species *cough* Valgen *cough* Chibi Dragon *cough* ."
"1. Laki was victim of sexual harassment as people seem to think owners of fursuits with breasts are into that.
2. Because people love to copy others in general, same reason for why Radywolf left this site as everyone copied her Rufen."
About "Rufen"
Rufen is a fursuit created by the owner of an overseas maker. The one in the middle is the most recent iteration.
"I thought Radywolf made 4 updates of Rufen's fursuit to promote K-LINE, isn't the deal?"
"Rady makes changes to Rufen in order to make it harder to copy, K-Line doesn't do commissions anymore for the very same reason (everyone ordering Rufen clones or its closed species Oinu) so doing it for promotion would have been pointless."
"It doesn't matter who does it but using Rady's Oinu species (aka wingless dragons with big ears on the side, horns on top and cat nose) is forbidden. She had to do two copies against her will while working for K-Line of which one is Rubiriya."
If you wonder why you don't see eastern furries, it's because up until recently they stayed away for very good reasons. I try hard not to be weeaboo about their half of the culture but finding shit like this makes it hard.
