There are good trans people and there are bad trans people. Just like any other group.

Isn't avoiding difficult questions a symptom of autism?Well, nobody is perfect but I like to think we trend toward not avoiding difficult questions as history marches on.
And it's ironic because both Wachowskis eventually came out as trans.
I think the majority of people self-identifying as trans on the internet are just mentally disturbed freaks who should be in an institution, and should be publicly shamed and ostracized.
The problem there is we can't look under a microscope and definitively tell what transgenderism actually is before and after "trans" HRT.There are good trans people and there are bad trans people. Just like any other group.
They're all bad. There are good trans people and there are bad trans people. Just like any other group.
I think it's because they're not trans, but are merely trying to exploit the social role meant for women and young girls.I mean for example potato
phill and cwc, there is no effort to seek the needed medical help to start with the most important = confirmation of diagnosis and start for the process, but ridiculous half-assed performance. Chris would go for the minimal effort of trying to dress like woman (if it wasnt too tiny clothes that look like they are meant for 12 yrs old = something isn't right and it seems like sign that gender issues are tiniest of his current mental issues).
Does anyone have any opinions on whether or not pronoun respect should be given on an individual basis?
For example, you could have an absolutely deplorable lolcow who advertises themselves as transgender and a really chill person who also advertises themselves as transgender. Do we give them both the respect they want, or just respect the second person just because they aren't a giant douchebag?
I've seen the argument levied against me that if I misgender one person claiming to be trans, that it sets out a negative perception about being trans in general, and that's that trans people would start to believe that the respect they seek from others is something they'd have to earn, rather than something that should just be granted to them. Of course, that argument comes off as pretentiously entitled, but I also don't want to deny someone's identity if they really deserve it and genuinely require it.
I dunno. I'm conflicted. lol.
I guess it's just me, then. For the most part, I use the pronouns people want, since really, it doesn't really hurt me, and I don't see any reason not to. That and I'm not mocking them for being trans, but because they're a lolcow who happens to be trans. I'll also use the name someone wants to be called, (not "dead naming"), because well, you can change your name legally anyways, so what's the big deal there?
Now, there are some exceptions -- I refuse to do the whole, "zir, zer" or whatever that is. It sounds so fucking pretentious. And for people like Chris, who really just seems to be playing dress-up, or Milo, who doesn't seem to know WHAT the hell she wants, I'm really not going to bother. But that's the minority.
But for someone like Riley Dennis, who's just a stupid bitch? Yeah, I'll say "she". I'll also call her a moronic twat.
It's not trolling to call a spade a spade. It is harmful to encourage this delusion, that you can transition to another gender or that you can "feel like a woman".The only time I've seen most trans people get upset about being misgendered, or someone using the wrong pronouns, is when someone's doing it deliberately as an insult, or just to troll. Not someone who does so out of ignorance, or just makes a mistake.
