What sort of autist redesigns someone's OC.I found a fresh hell when, as usual, I went into the Fallout 3 tag looking for some inspiration for a piece I was working on.
Apparently, this is a "redesign" of the person's fan character/Lone Wanderer.
The original still had an "ugly" vibe, which I'd argue is good! Make ugly wasteland bitches! But at least it was more "don't fuck with me" and less "witch caricature"!

Thing is, the art's good and it's a pretty solid style, but that's why it kind of falls on its face. Most people who work in stylized, cartoonish styles leave out smaller details for the sake of clutter and general appeal. Body hair is that--a detail. It'd look out of place on this style to anyone because it's unnecessary visual noise that shouldn't be there.
The extra hair seems to be a weird staple of this guy's work; just before this was a piece with Lapis Lazuli from SU with hairy-ass arms and legs...

Eh, those cunts always take the "sexy one" from the group and make it as unappealing for an average white cis male that he won't masturbate to it, while keeping the character attractive enough for all the thirsty political lesbians. Unless they don't give a fuck about the character and they just want some notes - then they just make the character completely different from the canon.
Anyway, to stay on topic - the leg hair doesn't bother me much (though I don't think it fits the character - Widowmaker seems like a woman that takes care of herself, unlike the tumblr girls), it's the arm hair (somehow as thick as the leg hair) and the big nose (when Widowmaker's nose is upturned and small).
