That guys gay, really? I never would have guessed.. I thought the actor for Loras probably was.... Brienne possibly..
Thing is I can't envision an ending to the books/ tv series where Dany isnt seated upon the iron throne. I mean she can take westeros with those three dragons, and no armies are going to stop her. I know George loves killing characters who are loved, but there is no way he will kill that pretty little dragon queen. Fans love her too much and she seems to central to the story to just kill off. Think about it.
-The Starks are gone. Though I admit Roose Bolton's hold on power is probably pretty tenuous. The other northern lords are probably pretty pissed about the red wedding and are plotting against the Boltons. Double that for the Freys. No one will ever trust a Frey again. If Walder had a hard time marrying his kids before, it will be almost impossible now.

Stannis is too old and cranky to have the iron throne. He is my favorite of the competing factions, but he is just way, way more killable than either Dany or Jon Snow. Fans will get pissed if he kills Danerys and her army and rules as king. I dont see it happening.

Dany may not get the throne, but there is no way she will get killed. Thoughts input guize?

We really all need to remember this scene.

So. have we had the conversation about who we think Jon Snow's mother was? I've got a damn good idea. I also think 'Winter Is Coming' is a euphemism for a king who will come from the North and there is a lot of "Snow" in the North... There is no doubt in my mind that he is a Stark, he's just not Ned's son.

EDIT: And, yup, I nailed it. Three years later.

I don't think the show's explained all that much concerning the events around Robert's Rebellion, so show-watchers-only probably haven't been given enough clues yet, so let's not spoil it for them. Anyways, it's a pretty uncontested theory amongst book-readers, so there's not much point talking about it.

Well then, who do you think it is? PM me...

I'll plop the two most popular ideas below.
The most popular by far is the idea that Jon is not the son of Ned Stark but rather he is Ned's nephew.
There is no support for the idea he's the son of the oldest Stark (Brandon).
This leaves Ned's sister (Lyanna) or Ned's younger brother (Benjen.)

Lyanna being Jon's mother is the most popular theory. If this is the case the father is Prince Reagar Targaryen (Daenerys's oldest brother)
Support
*Lyanna was to be married to Robert Baratheon, but she complained to Ned she didn't think he would be faithful to her.
*Raegar loved Lyanna.
*Though believed Raegar kidnapped and raped Lyanna, some think she willingly slept with the prince.
*Lyanna's last words to her brother were "promise me," the context has remained vague.

This means:
Lyanna died bringing Jon Snow into the world. Knowing Robert would kill every Targaryen to secure his new throne, Ned pretended Jon was his bastard son to protect him.

Jon being the bastard son of Benjen is a far second. Very few readers think this.
Support:
*Benjen seems to like Jon more than Ned's other kids.
*When Jon says he wants to join the NW, Benjen tries to talk him out of it. He tells Jon to father some bastards first.
*Why would Benjen, a somewhat high ranking man of the NW, be against his bastard nephew joining.
This means:
Benjen broke his vows and fathered a child. The punishment for breaking the NW vows is death. Ned finds this out and pretends Jon is his bastard son to save his brother's life.

Don't forget the whole "Bed of blood" thing.

Unlikely Jon is Benjens kid. Ned came back with baby jon from the campaigns in the south. Benjen was never in the south, or helping Roberts rebellion ( as far as we know.)
On a different note, I think Cersei Lannisters time is almost up. I think all the lies she's told and enemies she has made will come back to bite her in the behind, and good riddance I say. She is perhaps my least favorite character in the series. She is vain, cruel and stupid, and has a real knack for hating and being hated by everyone she comes into contact with. I can't think of a single person who really likes her or is her "friend" in any sense of that word. Jaime was, but she rejected him because he no longer was the paragon of male attractiveness and martial prowess. Her father may be a cold, hard SOB, but at least he knew what he was doing, and would be able to help run the kingdom well. Her.... I just don't see it.
I really want the Hound to live... and Stannis to be king!

You've been reading The North Remembers, haven't you?

My Predictions

1. Stannis wins battle against roose. ramsey kills roose.

2. Dany will cross the narrow sea.

3. Jaime and Brienne are killed by lady stonheart and her gang. Seriously what chance does Jaime have against any of them?

4 Davos finds Rickon

5. Jon Snows is alive and wel.
