Yes, they did. Gilly was reading a book at the Citadel and asked Sam what "annulment" meant. After he told her, she mentioned that, in the book she's reading, a Maester had recorded an annulment on behalf of Rhaegar Targaryen. At the same time, the Maester recorded a new marriage between Rhaegar and another woman. I think Gilly also mentions that it happened in Dorne. Oh, and by the way, Sam wasn't paying attention so right now Gilly is the only one who has that information.

So yes, Rhaegar annulled his marriage with Elia Martell in order to marry Lyanna Stark. Jon Snow isn't a bastard, he's a legitimate Targaryen and has a stronger claim to the throne than Dany does.
So how long will it takes before Dany get to know it and want to ride Jon bastard sword?

There are two episodes left this season. So, two episodes.

I think my favorite bit of dramatic irony was the part where Gendry mets Jon and Jon says "Our fathers trusted each other." It's funny because Jon still doesn't know his real father is Rhaegar Targeryan who was killed by Robert Baratheon (Gendry's father) in the civil war that started because they were both in love with the same woman (Lyanna Stark, Jon's mother).

notice me.

I found the last episode kinda meh, I get it, you need slower episodes inbetween action like the one before, but still it was more about the writing that was off here and there. though to be fair probably anything would've appeared boring after that last episode
like Arya bitching at Sansa for no reason, I found that entire scene very bizarre and out of character for Arya, and yeah she is quite the blood thirsty one but she's not an idiot? why would she want to just slaughter everyone? is she really so dumb not to think it would cost the stark the loyalty of the punished house?
and her spying on little finger, it was a very obvious trap from the audience's POV, and I feel like, after all her training with the faceless men, like beeing blind and fighting blind, Arya should've known better. she just seems overconfident and cocky for no reason, like at the beginning of the series where everything was fine and she was fighting with Sansa just bc of the lady vs tomboy trope, even though it makes no sense to bring this dynamic back at this point.

I agree with you how goddamn stupid this subplot is. It makes no sense for Arya to think that Sansa would take the throne from Jon. She should also understand that the letter was written when Sansa was in Jofferys claws. I also don't get why they keep Littlefinger around. He is not trustworthy.

What happened to the Lesbian dragon queen thing?

Daeny was banging Daario(?) the entire time, so wasn't it just a fandom thing anyway? I assume you mean the scene where Asha made a joke about the marriage proposal

and yeah I really hope they'll even out this dumbing down of Arya before the season ends, it just makes no sense for her character not to understand intrigue and subtlety, she was working for face changing assassins for fucks sake and had to live in hiding for years (?)

Yeah, what is the timeline of the show anyways? Jon mentioned that Bran had been living beyond the Wall for "years." To my knowledge, the books thus far have taken place over two or three years at most.

the timeline is all over the place now. In the books, it has only gone 3 years at the most from the first book.

so episode 6 accidentally aired in spain and there was no one in spain who could figure out how to upload it for like 3 hours. so if that's your thing, happy hunting.
