He's covering new topics that were not in the older videos, primarily regarding Google's concerted effort to use industry contacts and connections to blacklist Damore from ever working in Silicon Valley again.Haven't watched the newest Metocast, so he might be repeating himself here for all I know.
I'd like to ask questions about the Holocaust
What would you like to ask, friend?
lol asking questions about the holocaust here is probably worse than asking questions about it on r/punchanazi.
So do you have questions or not?
Where did you hide the bodies, Dynasty? So do you have questions or not?
Frankly, his idea is fucking awful, poorly thought out and will just back fire if done.Short talk about the increasing online censorship problems and what to do about it
No idea is bad that it might work, a bad idea is bad because it won't work it not like a score in old arcade game where if it get high enough it rests to zero; no idea gets so bad that it flips to good it just gets worse. They won't noticed and or care, even if it passes it won't hurt them as much as people think, facebook, google, and all those can afford the lost it brings and the only people who actually lose are the users.
I mean really how can you look at the cold war and threats of a total nuclear holocaust and think "that good idea, I should copy that".
He really dose need to calm down, even if these are actually giant super big problems that are tots real and gonna ruin the world, he need calm the fuck down as fear mongering just makes it worse.Jim be angry. He need to "lol calm down" as we say around here

When you have no other options left. It is better than being kebabs or IRA and going to bomb Google's headquarters which is something which might actually happen if this continues
Man, it's one thing to talk about YouTube, since that site is getting shittier and shittier by the day. But the idea Jim proposes is just as bad as the censorship he's trying to fight. It's obvious as fuck that Jim has no idea that the ISPs don't care about the users, sites like CloudFlare or anyone besides themselves and the money they can suck out from all sides. I don't like the idea of internet censorship too, but at the same time, the bottom line is money- Sites like Google and Facebook need money and are bleeding money. YouTube's being run at a loss, it needs all the money it can get. Not only that, but the ISPs also need money. You can't just weaponize internet freedoms and Net Neutrality without something going wrong. Doesn't matter if it's the ISPs taking advantage of all sides, the big sites and providers doubling up their efforts or the users just realizing this is stupid af. Jim should have realized before opening his mouth that there were going to be massive flaws to his logic.Short talk about the increasing online censorship problems and what to do about it
Because some people are that extreme for their bullshit to happen anyway. How does he not realize that this e-doomsday scenario would end up playing in the favor of the juggernauts he's trying to beat? If internet service providers can throttle whoever's delivery speed, that will ensure it will throttle all the alternative sites first and foremost because they won't be able to afford to pay this new, enormous layer of fees that didn't exist before, and they'll have to do it with every internet service provider out there. The only websites that could be able to afford that are the ones who feel safe and secure in censoring people to begin with, because they have enough money that supporting the voices the likes of which you'll find on DailyStormer no longer boosts their capital but stands to hold it back. Youtube has been making a wishy-washy push toward becoming e-television for the last decade and this would give them every incentive to make that final leap, as they'll have no reason to allow independent content providers continue using their service. This isn't mutually assured destruction, this is launching all your nukes straight into the air and letting them dive 180° back into their silos.
No asshole would be stupid enough to do that, nor would any dumbass be smart enough to pull it off. What even is this talk of having no other options left? Look where you are, the most maligned website on the internet and we're still around after being kicked off several hosts. We are not on the cusp of internet Armageddon, & what even makes Twatter and Failbook so important anyway?
The answer certainly isn't "hand the internet service providers the last thing they really want", that would benefit every mainstream site the most because that would annihilate all their competition overnight and your choices would be to either use their services or not use the web at all. This is the worst idea ever.
Yes, let's sacrifice the most important worldwide communications system ever on an altar of shortsighted stupidity to achieve the exact outcome we were trying to prevent.
