I'm glad Jon's making videos again, I was afraid that all of the controversy over that debate he did scared him off the internet..

It doesn't even sound like the "controversy" had anything to do with his absence. I mean, Jon isn't exactly known for pumping out a lot of content in the first place. I'm willing to believe that he just wasn't happy with the videos he had made and wants to branch out, which is basically what he said in the first video if anyone didn't want to sit through it.

I honestly think these same people would go thermonuclear if they actually understood how the rest of the world sees Americans. Case in point: @Jaimas 's current avatar (which is I think the USS Iowa in American Girl form?)

You're pretty much right, it's Iowa from Kantai Collection. She was the first actual American in the game and thus became an immediate fan favorite.

The Cool As Ice video was funny. As long as Jon keeps putting out content like that, I don't really care what his hot opinions are. Imo, it only becomes an issue when a creator's political/personal/etc beliefs start to invade and infect their content. Jon's obviously managed to avoid that so far, and I think he's smart enough to stay on that track.
