oh i thought you believed in evolution
Well there's also the issue of talent. Art isn't just something you learn if given enough time. If you don't have artistic talent, then you could hack away at it for a million years and still not be any good.The fact his art hasn't gotten even a little better over 16 years time (an amount of time that could see an artist go from children's scribbles to professional level, possibly with a few years to spare)
Well, there are artists who have literally (by classical definition) mastered a particular technique or medium, and have every right to say so. But they don't just keep plugging away at it until they die. They move on to something new and different. I think someone mentioned Picasso. He's an excellent example of that.even though his dream is to be a prestigious artist, even going so far as to suggest that he doesn't need to improve (something that you'll never hear from the mouth of a master tradesman), highlights his ego and lack of self-criticism.
This is a possibility with the exception that he would need someone extremely talented and experienced to market his work.Actually, if Chris marketed his art as Low Brow or Outsider Art, he could have a chance to do obscenely well in the underground gallery scene, even for just a little while. I wish I were lying but I have seen far worse, far more derivative garbage sell for thousands at shows, and we're not even talking like Lichtenstein or Warhol levels of competence.
My mom was kind of like Barb and *she* was the one that made me write in cursive all the way through highschool. Granted I attempted to make it legible enough to read but I'm wondering if Barb or Bob were a driving factor in his writing cursive up through then. Like because they were old and thought it was 'proper'.Maybe he was showing off? Like, "I know how to write in cursive" -> "Nobody else writes in cursive" -> "They must not know how" -> "I'm writing in cursive, LOOK AT ME I AM SMART"
Or even a simpler "They taught us cursive later, so it must be more advanced and better in all situations.
When I was in elementary school (The 90s), they taught us the entire cursive alphabet, but never expected us to use it afterward unless we were signing our names on something.

That might require being more clever then the fish.He should probably take up fishing. He might actually be good at that.
That would require them to take an interest in what their kid was doingMy mom was kind of like Barb and *she* was the one that made me write in cursive all the way through highschool. He really only parroted what his parents said. Chris' perceptions are skewed because he was raised on dollar bin movies, T.V., pokemon and blue hedgehogs.On the subject of older parents;
Chris got the most, if not arguably all, of his worldview from his parents. Their age contributed to the skewing of his perceptions, I'm sure.
i'm interested to see if Chris was actually decent at math, because I can not for the life of me imagine how his teachers could manage to rubberstamp his math homework. It's either right or wrong.I think we're running a little dry on Chris-related discussion since the topic at hand keeps drifting away.
Has any scans of his math work been put up yet? Because I'm certain seeing fatty's attempts at basic algebra is going to involve raising numbers to the exponential powers of Sonichu all over the place.

And Alaska is non-existent.

Canada is just mad we can afford to pay for healthcare.So why do Canada hate America?
Pokemon was originally distributed in the US through syndication if I am remember correctly. I remember the local UPN affiliate having it while the local WB affiliate would also have it (not a part of their SUPER DUPER KIDS line up though).
And now, a totally accurate recreation of Chris's world View.

Apparently Asia and Australasia are the only Pro-American landmasses.
